Hopefully this horrible experience will open her eyes, and she will get involved to ensure others do not have to experience what she did.

As a registered Independent who votes liberal in every election (local, state, federal) I am sick to death of being told by the Democratic party to vote.  I have been voting, what have you been doing?

Not every person in America is a Democratic voter. Maybe, for better or worse, “Democratic voters”are not the ones who need to be convinced to vote for Democrats. The human body is incredibly complicated. The pregnant one even more so. The universe of abnormal things that can happen is near-infinite. Which is why it makes sense for the default position of the law to be “you can terminate a pregnancy without government interference.”

So she supports the abortion ban, just not for herself.

And are extremely unsuccessful at it, with fewer than 1 percent of babies put up for adoption. 

So when her "pro-life" self realized she had to die for her beliefs, she suddenly wanted the right to choose? Funny how that works.

They also exist to steer unsuspecting young women into adoption arrangements. There’s some serious ethical and legal issues with these outfits.

just think how giddy the anti-choicers are at this point. They got what they wanted and now “sluts” are dying or in danger of dying.

I guarantee he knew exactly what it was and didn’t care.  You can’t be anti-abortion and care about women at the same time.
