Yeah, it always sounds like a really great idea until you think about implementing it in the real world. Then it becomes nightmarish.

I get that some people are sociopaths, and they can't take care of children. I don't understand how they can feed and care for other children while just choosing one to starve and abuse.

I've talked about this before, probably ad nauseam, that I'm an attorney working in child welfare cases. I sometimes represent parents, and sometimes the kids. These cases are all full of marginalization, abuse, heartache, disfunction, addiction, neglect... they're all difficult.

She should have the other children removed from her custody until the courts hear the case. These other children could be in danger.

Because we are not Nazis and we don't sterilize people without their consent.
