Curious what you paid, as the cheapest I have seen (new 2016 model) was still over 50k, even for a base model. With comparable features, the XC90 is in the same territory and still not as roomy or capable. I love your vehicle, but I don’t think it’s a good comparison.

You’ve never been outside of the city, have you? I’m not saying anyone SHOULD, but this happens all the time.

TL;DR

Sounds like you’ve never been to a trailer park

Fort Stockton is definitely the middle of nowhere, and it is fantastic! 80 mph speed limits, plenty of open highway, and some of the best sunsets you’ll ever see.

So all stock Raptors are brodozers?

Then they should:

Current Grand Cherokees are keyless, so the keys are never “in it,” if you mean the ignition.

That rig is gorgeous and amazing, but it’s hardly a Defender. It’s half of a D110 cab and some frame components. Suspension, axels, wheels, tires, motor, seats, etc. have all been changed. Calling this a Land Rover is like calling a Rally Fighter a Honda because it has Civic tail lights. Or calling an Ultra4 buggy a

~6k mi/year? No wonder it’s in such great shape, you never drive it. That’s awesome, though. They certainly hold up quite well.

I am NOT defending the asshole in the pickup, but the law states that the left lane is for passing only. If they are “driving to speed with traffic,” as you put it, then they are, in fact, being an asshole. They certainly don’t deserve the outcome, but they are far from innocent.

Jeep Wrangler (probably a YJ or TJ on your budget): tons available, easy to work on, parts are reasonable and readily available, great in summer with top down, great in winter with 4wd, your local Jeep community will help you learn to work on it, if/when you want to customize and upgrade there are TONS of options,

Again, no one is defending him, but committing a crime is not an appropriate response. The only one that “obviously” has anything coming, is the perpetrator, and that’s a hefty repair bill and hopefully a fine.

A crime is not an appropriate, reasonable, or mature response to a tort.

Victim blaming? Tap your SJW brakes for a minute. The ‘victim’ in this instance, is the car.

Sofa. King. Jealous.

No local lender will get you zero percent financing, as there is no incentive to offer you a loan that they make no money on.
