Not sure, but I have to imagine they threw in weekly hair dyeing services.

because am not that dumb.

Care to elaborate and discuss it? Or are you just here to drop snark?

I read the entire article. Have you read any of the other comments in this thread?

Thanks for the constructive discussion.

If you want to go off to other equivalencies, then sure, let’s talk about it.

Glad you’re loving the game!

No, that has nothing to do with whether or not I will enjoy the game. I’m saying that the developer should be able to choose how difficult they want to make a game, regardless if I like the game or not.

I get what you’re saying, but to me, there’s a difference between items in the game you can obtain to make you more powerful, and the traditional difficulty sliders we get of “Make the enemies have more health, make you do more damage, and make bosses have easier attack patterns”.

“It doesn’t need to have this thing, but if it did then it would be fine.”

It seems clear at this point that From Software’s games do just fine, “bad business” or not.

I don’t disagree that accessibility is a great thing to have in games. I just don’t believe that developers should be lampooned for creating a specific, crafted, difficult experience, if they’re not interested in capturing a wide audience. Not every game has to appeal to everyone.

I agree completely, you put it much more succinctly than I could. Nowadays, there’s a bunch of games out there for every taste. If this isn’t your cup of tea, move on.

Hey! Thanks for the thoughtful response.

You know, back in the day, guitar hero used to give me carpal tunnel cramps if I played it for too long. Same goes for any number of shooters.

Where did I say that my enjoyment of the game in contingent on other people not being able to enjoy it?

No, I’m saying that if this particular game causes somebody pain, don’t play it. Same reason I wouldn’t recommend Rez to somebody with epilepsy.

Is there any performance degradation on a non-pro PS4?

There are so many games out there, Joshua. This one just isn’t for you, and that’s okay. It doesn’t need to bend over backwards with an easy mode.

“I’ve got a lot to say about wobbling and the whole situation that went down today but all I’ll say is I miss the days when people honored the unwritten rules of Melee and didn’t cry about everything they didn’t understand,”
