Exactly, they give them out like candy anyways. I checked yesterday and I have like 16 saved up, keep forgetting to use them.

The server sync issues are definitely a big problem. The most hilarious place I tend to see them is when somebody wings a plasma grenade 10 feet wide and it suddenly zooms over and clings to you.
I agree it doesn’t really warrant a change, but if there is a change that would be made that’s what I would target... The article calls out the 3-shot kill, but I don’t really think that is an issue. Either way I think it’s probably fine as-is. BR is still king.
I mention it in another comment, but playing in higher onyx tiers, I see it used quite commonly as a close-range secondary for the instant shot+beatdown kill. It basically functions as a shotgun. For most of the medium-long range stuff you’re going to be using the BR, though.
The most powerful thing about the Mangler (not explicitly mentioned here) is that it’s a one-shot anywhere+beat down for an instant kill. Like 80%+ of times I kill or am killed by the Mangler it’s because of that combination. It’s better at being a shotgun than the shotgun.
This is the most basic, easy to counter oddball play that has been around since the beginning of the series. Agreed, this article is pretty dumb. You should be able to counter it after seeing it a total of 1 time.
You absolutely should get it out of bounds in those situations. If your see your guardians die and the enemy team is closing in and your options are:
This strategy, and the counterplay, has been around in every halo game since the inception of the series. It definitely involves gunplay. You have to out-slay the enemy team to counter it - you establish control over the respawn point and get enough damage on the carrier to make them jump off the map. If your gunplay…
People have pretty universally enjoyed quick resume.
Also, play it for free if you have Game Pass.

Ah yep, my mistake.
It’s not in Japan. Fabrice lives in France.
Mm, nope, as highlighted in the article, there’s plenty of useful features that exist in the new chromium-based Edge that aren’t available in Google Chrome. As far as the engine to display web content goes, yeah they’re the same now, but Microsoft is really trying to distinguish themselves from a front-end user point…
Agreed, the low-investment playthroughs of shorter titles is definitely where the sweet spot has been for me as well. On the bright side, even for longer titles like Witcher 3, Game Pass gives you a low investment way to try them out for a few hours and see if they’re worth your time and money.
Lighten up, Francis.
And they do it with five cracked ribs, a broken foot, and 3 teeth left.
So it’s cool for you to say you love his reporting, but if anyone else does, it’s ass-kissing.
Jason has a ton of fans in the Kotaku commentariat for all the solid reporting he’s done around here over the years. It’s really not sus at all that we want to keep up on what he’s doing and are happy to see him successful.
A new report from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier
As a fellow old, I’m not sure I agree with the cynicism here. The stratification of gaming and associated “culture” (for lack of a better term) seems like a pretty natural consequence of how much gaming has grown in just a few decades, and that’s a good thing. It’s not “people who played video games and people who…
