Agreed. Golf Story is a gem, and you can’t play it on any other system. It’s a must have if you have a Switch in my opinion.
Just Dance 2019 came out a couple weeks ago, and as with other recent entries in the series, its catalog of songs is divided up into ones that come with the base game and ones that are only available with Just Dance Unlimited subscription, which costs $3 for a day, $4 for a month, and $25 for a full year.
I mean, I agree that they are. MTG just happens to be the one I have the most experience pissing away money at. Even if you just buy individual cards to craft the one or two decks you’re going to use in an expansion, that’s still a lot of dough you’re dropping every expac (not to mention it gets dull playing the same…
Remember when video games used to have fun, competitive online multiplayer without being stuffed to the gills with microtransactions?
I’m sure the people who had to get up on stage and announce Immortal without D4 to cushion the blow regretted it. Talk about having the rug pulled out from under them.
Whatever you do, don’t get back into MTG (or if you do, try MTG Arena). MTG is an enormous money pit.
I actually just played Undertale earlier this year when it came out on Switch. It’s still a really good game, and worth playing, you just have to clear your expectations. No game will live up to the hype if that’s all you can think about while you’re playing it.
I usually really look forward to reading these, but this week I couldn’t even get through it. Had to skip to the end.. the really whiny letter interjected every sentence or two with overly snarky, “sassy” commentary was tough to get through.
1.) It gets your blood moving - I’m pretty sure your blood is already moving. And always moving.
Like, side note here, why is your comment history so incredibly hateful? You okay buddy?
“It is to our regret that some players might have felt that things could be handled better,”
Right? After killing Ptolemy, every time I came across one of his statues to destroy I’m thinking to myself, “Why did they add all of these things as a build up to such a minor character?” Might be that they just rushed it, and they meant to make more of Ptolemy than they ended up settling for. I do think there were…
I guess you can’t help bad taste. The naval combat in Black Flag was some of the most enjoyable pirating I’ve ever done in a video game.
“Stretching” is a broad term. The best recommendations, as I understand them, are to do active, dynamic stretches/exercises before your workout, exercises where you’re slowly and deliberately moving your joints through their ranges of motion. It gets your blood moving, preps your muscles for exercise, and gives your…
Is Deltarune a prequel to Undertale? A sequel? A prototype demo to garner feedback for the sequel? We won’t know until we play through the whole thing, but the new game from Undertale designer Toby Fox promises to be just as bizarre and trippy as the last one. (Plus, it’s an anagram.)
I disagree that player choice is an essential characteristic to be deemed a video game. Interaction, yes. Decisions and choice making, no.
Presumably, to explore an interactive narrative.
$25 is what I wish I would have paid for this pile of dung.
