Yikes.

To be posted in the comments of each and every Pokemon article that comes up. At least, that’s what I hope.

Hey, skipped down here (avoiding spoiler territory for now) to ask a question. I never actually finished the original RDR. Does it hold up well enough to enjoy now, or should I just hit the “screw it” button at this point and watch Tim’s half hour summary before jumping on in RDR2?

Ugh, that’s really fucked up.

“They call me a no-life but actually they are the people with no life.”

It’s okay, I saw a few people in here making excuses about staying healthy altogether, but you’re right - the majority are just about not going to the gym. Exercising is the important part, anything that gets your heart rate up and challenges your body outside of its comfort zone is good for you.

I agree with you, any way somebody gets up and moving is a good thing. Pretty sure I said “should exercise” and not “should go to the gym”.

What sucks more is all of the poor health you’re inflicted with if you live a completely sedentary lifestyle.

Well, jeez. I had no idea. That’s not a great look.

What’s wrong with Boogie? I watch him here and there on Twitch. Every time I’ve tuned in, he seems like an honest, earnest, positive personality. I really enjoy his Magic pack opening streams.

Yeah, what I don’t get is that the OP has clearly admitted they haven’t even played Origins or Odyssey, and despite several other people here (including game professionals) telling them that what they’re saying isn’t true and is overblown, they’re sticking to their guns.

I’m doggedly working to finish Origins at the moment so I can play Odyssey soon, and honestly, the microtransactions can be almost completely ignored. They’re sectioned off into their own menu/shop, and it’s possible to just never interact with it and play the game normally. I’d recommend giving is a shot - Origins

I agree that it does seem like we used to get more for our money on post-release content. I don’t mind spending for more of a game that I like, but at some point the cost/value ratio is so skewed that I don’t bother.

I know! I’ve had Fiber for a couple of years, I like when things come along that can really put it to the test. I’m going to give it a shot this week.

When I want that flavor, I just reach for a bottle of gin.

I still have fun playing, but I really get into the planning and long-term investment sort of things (investment as in sinking credits/gear/ability mats into characters, not cash money).

Yeah, I really want it to but I’m waiting for Christmas. AC games always have some kind of discount for the holidays.

Only way the Hawks are sneaking into the playoffs this year is if they can grab a wild card spot. The Central is stacked.

No doubt. We’ve also had things happen like somebody solving a lock and not pulling hard enough on it, so we thought it was still locked until somebody else came along and tried it...

Yep. One other thing I’ll add on here is that it’s useful to have people “claim” a lock or two. That way, whenever someone discovers a code that might match, they yell it out and everyone can quickly try it on “their” locks to see if it opens up any new clues. It speeds up the process and prevents different people
