Boy, this is a really whiny post about a meme. Hit a nerve, I did.

Playing Overcooked with somebody is the true test of your relationship.
No kidding. That was such good advice that I shot down here immediately to see if anyone had already quoted it.
I’m talking about the one year where BaE was in a depressive hole. By his account, things were pretty good prior to that.
Not $300k if you win. $300k total prize pool, $100k if you win.
Agreed. I’ve been in BaE’s shoes before, and that kind of depression really can make for a miserable living situation, and the relationship can deteriorate as a result to the point where it’s no longer salvageable.
I’d say there’s a .00001% chance that Sony does cross-platform. Maybe Xbox One and PC will have cross-platform if there’s ever a PC release, but I wouldn’t count on it.
Bought one of these last year, they’re awesome. The builds are super small and only take a few minutes each day, and they’re really charming. Highly recommended.

Counterpoint: Animal Crossing without the large bell sink represented by Tom Nook’s business would be aimless and boring.
who cares if they are limited or not they cost $80 ($60 for the controller and $20 for online since they can only be used for NES games online)
I do agree with you that it’s more fun, but as I’ve gotten older, my usual Smash buddies have moved to other cities for jobs, families and whatnot. If nothing else, having solid multiplayer services will let me play with them again, and I’ll also have access to a wider player pool so I can find good competition.
Maybe I was just leaving the door open for quality comments by people like you and wonky23 ;)
Damnit. I was about to make some snarky remark here about how I was going to get the service, but between all of this crap and the new NES controllers being so limited, there was no way Nintendo was getting my subscription money.
I don’t disagree, I loved IX. Just saying it’s strange that it’s included when VIII isn’t, considering the sales numbers both then and now.
I’m saying the sales then and now reflect the popularity of the game both at release, and the lasting appeal to an audience today. Given those numbers, it’s just a weird gap, considering how they’re releasing at least one other entry in the series that was/is not nearly as popular. It seems way more likely to be some…
This is the stupidest jump in logic I have seen in a long time. Were you even around when the PSX launched?
I was just being stupid and hyperbolic, to mirror the original stupid and hyperbolic statement. Obviously, his take is his opinion and is subjective.
The numbers are higher than for IX, at least on Steam, so I’m guessing the sales aren’t it.
What a hot, original, and objectively wrong take.
