I gotta agree. This article is definitely reaching.

Total Warhammer is, to my knowledge, the generally accepted “unofficial” name for that game. So, there’s that at least.

I love when two of my favorite things come together.

Thanks for the constructive feedback, my living room is not set up for that, and will not be based on the layout.

Right, I was (and still am to a degree) unsure of the lifetime of rechargeable AAs. They are a significant upfront investment, and a cheaper purchase of 24 regular AAs will last a long time. That said, I’ve read through these comments a bit and the consensus seems to be that rechargeable AAs are pretty reliable these

That’s the thing, the batteries “built into the controller” don’t tend to last very well in my experience. Rechargeable AAs seem to be a happy medium between crappy, built in Lithium batteries, and wasteful disposable AAs.

I’ll probably check em out next time I catch a deal on them!

Yeah, that seems to be a popular option from the other comments as well. Reviews seem to be all over the place except for Eneloops.

On the topic of rechargeable battery packs, it’s tough. An official “Xbox One Play and Charge Kit” looks like it goes for $25 USD, and the off-brand copycats on Amazon have really spotty reviews. The official kit says they last for 30 hours, though people report less than that, and in my experience the max charge

Westwood should sue

That could be the original usage, but it’s been heavily co-opted to mock transgender people.

Oh, sweet summer child.

Some good Kinja right here.

For real, totally spoiled by Warhammer. It’s so tough to go back to the historical games. Shogun 2 was one of my favorite games of all time, and I went back to try to play it a few months ago. Didn’t work out.

I mean, if I’m going to get a game anyways, I’m definitely going to try to save $12.

Along with that bad news, Amazon also announced that Prime members will no longer get 20% discounts off pre-ordered new game releases either.

I just ran into this area last night! Randomly wandered in while cleaning up a serene forest resort with geysers and waterfalls. Going from that to a humongous junkheap was a pretty jarring transition.

Just learn Japanese

“Screw the Spartan Charge.”
