That’s the thing, the batteries “built into the controller” don’t tend to last very well in my experience. Rechargeable AAs seem to be a happy medium between crappy, built in Lithium batteries, and wasteful disposable AAs.

I’ll probably check em out next time I catch a deal on them!

On the topic of rechargeable battery packs, it’s tough. An official “Xbox One Play and Charge Kit” looks like it goes for $25 USD, and the off-brand copycats on Amazon have really spotty reviews. For real, totally spoiled by Warhammer. It’s so tough to go back to the historical games. Shogun 2 was one of my favorite games of all time, and I went back to try to play it a few months ago. Didn’t work out.

I mean, if I’m going to get a game anyways, I’m definitely going to try to save $12.
