Nope! There have been a couple of expansions, so you’d have to pay for those, but you can absolutely update and play the base game that you’ve already paid for.

Going to be hard to justify buying this game again later this year, what with Mario Party and SMAAAASH coming out.

I’ll also chime in here to say it’s a completely different game from launch. It’s absolutely worth a second look.

Okay, maybe a dumb question. I’ve been holding off on resubscribing until the expansion hit, but I’ve been seeing all the stuff about Darnassus and Sylvanas, and really would like to see that stuff. Am I screwed once the expansion hits? What’s the best way to experience that stuff if it’s gone, watching the cinematics…
