The moral of the story? Don’t jump to conclusions based on hearsay and secondhand information.
That’s disappointing, I’ve read all of the other replies and while I’m going to do some more of my own homework, this really doesn’t sound like a sandbox. Used to play Star Wars Galaxies back in the day, that was the closest I ever got a true sandbox MMO.
I’m really hoping you’re right.
I have the same issue with most Highlight Reels. I think their servers just aren’t up to the task, I always just skip to the youtube link.
How can you attribute that to Denuvo?
I heard a really loud sizzling sound about 20 minutes ago, wasn’t sure what it was.
It’s funny how that works. For me, Halo’s is nearly exclusively a competitive multiplayer series, as that’s the part that draws me in. Dayum girl.
Trying to read the comics...
I spent some time watching it on Twitch as well, but came away pretty underwhelmed... seemed pretty boring. Maybe I was watching the wrong streamers!
And yet it was the outsourced parts that worked the best - the individual game engines. They played great. The UI, netcode, and matchmaking were all on 343i.
True, a lot of the UI bugs and general matchmaking issues were embarrassing though. Way beyond the acceptable “launch bugs” that come with any game.
