Fair enough. For me, the mask sidequests were the most enjoyable and memorable part of the game; most of them had interesting characters and a mini-story behind them.

Okay buddy.
Yeah, it's a pretty divisive entry in the series. It had a much darker, brooding atmosphere than say, OoT, and a lot of people didn't like the 3-day reset mechanic. For me, I loved the atmosphere in that game and it's my favorite Zelda game, but I can see why things would turn people off about it.
It's silly to expect FF14 MMO storytelling to be the same quality as Vanilla WoW, released a decade ago. They've had access to all of the MMOs created in that time, and have good examples at their disposal of what works and what doesn't. There's really not much of an excuse for the quests to be that bland, especially…
17, apparently.
I found WoW's Warlords of Draenor quests to be a lot more engaging.
I kind of felt that way about the questing too. The combat felt pretty awesome for the first 10 hours, and the world and final fantasy music were a nostalgia trip. Buuuut, it lost its sheen after the 100th "kill 10 enemies in this area" quest.
Yeah, I've heard really good things about the Monkey Island series. Quality writing and humor can definitely carry a game, even if the gameplay is sometimes ho-hum.
Yeah, I do hate the puzzles that leave you feeling a bit lost about what the goal is. It's why I never got into point and click adventure games; the "puzzles" in those games seem to boil down to "click this random spot in a room somewhere to get an item that you couldn't possibly know was there" to solve the puzzle…
Of course they will. Jesus was a firm supporter of DDOS.
I don't consider bestiaries to be cheating. Looking up loot tables to see where an item drops, what the drop rate is, etc. just saves you time and the tedious exercise of guessing at where at item drops and killing things for a long time to (maybe) get it.
There are definitely some annoying puzzles in those games. The block sliders never bothered me, sliding block puzzles have a set of steps you can follow (similar to a Rubik's cube) that can be repeated to solve any square sliding puzzle, so they become trivial after you know how to solve them. The ones that are more…
The Y50 goes on sale pretty often it seems. I picked up an older generation model last year for about half of the retail price. I did have frustrating issues with the laptop immediately after it arriving (blue screens, hard crashing), and had to send it in for repairs. Took about 3 weeks, and Lenovo ended up replacing…
Some people have strange ways of getting their kicks. This doesn't even strike me as a very entertaining form of trolling.
Don't swat me bro.
Aw, especially you, I can tell. Did you beat people like that up and take their lunch money?
Well, shit. In that case, I retract my statements as factually incorrect and out of line.
Thanks sweetie.
Forsen, Trump, Sodapoppin, Lirik, DansGaming, Toweliee, Wintergaming, Kaceytron, Hafu, LegendaryLea. And that's just primarily from the games that I watch.
Could be... that would make for a strange plot.
