I tried these on a whim a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. I’d get more but I have such poor impulse control that I try to avoid keeping snacks regularly stocked.

“Come now, you rich! Weep and cry aloud over the miseries that are coming on you. Your riches have rotted and your clothing has become moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted and their rust will be a witness against you. It will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have hoarded treasure!

“But you don’t understand- I put THOUGHT into it! Someone out there surely has to appreciate my reasoning!”

“THE BOULDER DEMANDS THAT THE PEBBLE EAT ALL OF HIS VEGETABLES!”

“Dad, come on. Do you have to be in character all the time?”

“THE BOULDER CANNOT BELIEVE HIS OWN SON WOULD QUESTION HIS DEDICATION TO THE NOBLE WORLD OF WRESTLING!”

There’s definitely something, but linking the Switch’s to a smartphone app is brilliant. Makes it much easier for parents to engage with, and it looks like they’ve got a lot of options too.

This video was adorable. Can we get more of the adventures of Bowser the Dorky Dad? Because I would watch that show.

Yeah, I’m very curious about the timeline here. I’ve also heard a theory that there’s some sort of timeline convergence going on in BotW, which would explain the Zora/Rito situation.

And thus Zelda did contain voice acting, to the cheers and mild confusion of many.

A lot of people don’t realize that Phoenix Wright is supposed to be satire. When Phoenix has to defend clients who were arrested on the grounds of “happened to wander by the scene of the crime” yet still has the whole courtroom stacked against him, that’s because the Japanese court system does not like the idea of

In the games, each new region has its own villain team (with the exception of Johto, the Gold/Silver region- GS was a straight sequel to Red/Blue, while later games each try to do more to stand on their own). In the anime, it’s kind of awkward- the evil team from the respective game to whatever region Ash is in

I question Rotom’s inclusion here- the base Pokémon is an Electric/Ghost type, just a floating ball of plasma or whatever. Yes, it can possess appliances, but that’s not the base Pokémon.

I got the impression that Lusamine was keeping everyone else in the dark about her schemes, at least as far as the full extent of them goes. Faba comes off as a jerk but I don’t think he knows what’s actually going on when he opposes you, and Wicke I don’t think is ever actually hostile toward the player at all.

I think that would have been a fair nerf. At the very least it allows Talonflame to get one hit off if it comes in on Stealth Rock, maybe two if it comes in untouched and doesn’t take too much from recoil.

I’m going to say “not cheating” on the Skyrim example. Given that these games encourage exploration, finding the crevasse on its own is clearly fine- when a game clearly wants me to explore every nook and cranny, it isn’t fair to say “Oh but not THAT one!”. Now, as far as killing the dragon goes, I consider it

Eh. I mean, it still does the same damage it’s always done. I do think it shouldn’t have ever been a TM or Tutor move, though. The fact that so many things can learn it is what really makes it centralizing.

I wouldn’t mind if the base damage was dropped to 1/12 of max HP rather than 1/8. Or if it stopped taking type

Because everyone knows if you’re going to name your kid after a FFV character, you name them Faris.

And good riddance. Talonflame was far too over centralizing in Gen 6. It wasn’t impossible to answer, but you HAD to be prepared for it or it would walk all over you. Certain Pokémon are always going to be better than others, but Talonflame was just dumb. I actually like how the nerf allows you one good hit, makes it

I will always love seeing FFV get love. It’s just a fun time all the way through, from the class system to the writing. And proof that you don’t need to be super-serious to have an engaging story with memorable characters. FFV is super light-hearted, but gave us Gilgamesh AND Faris, two of the greatest characters in

Delta’s statement yesterday was that they were removed “after a disturbance in the cabin resulted in more than 20 customers expressing their discomfort.”

This basically should have been the nail in the coffin- no way do 20 people on an airplane complain about a guy just speaking Arabic. If you’re on an airplane and 20
