I imagine that was more exclusivity and licensing than technical limitations, but I don’t know for sure. I assume we’ll see Forbidden West on PC after about a year.

A game launching on last gen and it works? It’s worth the money? People who haven’t been able to get a PS5 can play? That doesn’t sound right.

Ah yes, the infamous “Ubisoft Factor”. I remember seeing WD3 on sale for $20 off within a couple weeks and thinking, “Yeah, that makes sense based on what I played.”

Those people would be better off purchasing the game :D

RE: Clueless Hero - “For $60 I must have fun” is actually part of why I’m kinda-sorta-a-little-bit excited for the inevitable future of games subscription services. For example, when AssCreed Valhalla and Watch Dogs 3 came out within a few weeks of each other, I paid $15 to subscribe to UPlay+ for a month. Loved

They should really hire that Via Bloomberg person to write here instead

At this point I’m expecting maybe they’ll just skip the Switch port entirely and put it on whatever the next Nintendo console is in a couple years.

I could definitely see them separating out all of that into a standalone package since it takes place in 3 entirely new zones.

I know we’re officially out of the Zelda 35th anniversary, but part of me still hopes they’ll drop a Zelda All-Stars like they did with Mario...

Man I feel like I’ve been hearing about Steam Deck for years and year now and it’s still not out... Time is funky during a(n eternal) pandemic.

I’m personally pulling for Yun Jin just because she’s the only one I don’t have :P

I hope US internet catches up to that, as that sounds wonderful. You can get “gigabyte” internet pretty much anywhere here, but you’ll get all sorts of data packet loss and choppiness. That’s not even factoring in the data caps.

Not in the US, at least not until the internet infrastructure gets better... There’s a difference between “vote with your wallet” and “I literally can’t stream cloud games so I’m just not gonna sub to that service” and I think that’s what will keep cloud gaming from ever really taking off in the US.

I’ve felt this before but didn’t know that there was a term for it. I know I’m not alone now, thank you.

If it is normal then it very well fucking shouldn’t be

No love for Mrs. Maisel? Or is that not out till 2023?

As an anime-only consumer I don’t want any spoilers, but how much of the manga has been adapted so far?

I haven’t played a Splinter Cell game in quite a while, but one scene from one of the earlier games really stuck hard with me over the years. There’s an early mission where you’re tailing an informant or something and she leads you to an elevator. You get in but she stays out and suddenly the doors close and your

You missed out on Watch Dogs 2. Other than that though....

“The Ubisoft Factor” is incredibly real, haha. I remember Watch Dogs 3 being discounted by 50% within 2 months of its release (though maybe that’s just because the game itself was boring...)
