I’m feeling similar about the MCU.

Far Cry 6 edges ever closer to the $20 mark at which I’ll be willing to buy it...

I hate HiDIVE. There, I said it. The service is trash; it crashes all the time and loads super slowly. Things that are in my queue randomly get removed. It lists seasons as having “12 episodes available” but then you go in and it’s 9 placeholders because the series has only aired 3 eps so far. The mobile app doesn’t

They’ll be purchaseable with gameplay-earned credits.

God I wish they’d just called the Gamepass-like thing something different. I saw “Playstation Plus” and “Stay” and thought “HELL YEAH I get to play the cat game with my PS+! What an amazing deal!”

Unity already has built in advertising frameworks to help monitize free to play games. This acquisition reads to me that they just want to make that more robust.

Jon Faverau’s Chef is this weird favorite of mine that I go back and “watch” like once every month or two when I’m drunk. Pop it up on the 2nd screen while grinding in Monster Hunter or whatever. There’s just something infectious about the movie. It’s genuinely funny and heartwarming, and makes great use of music. I

Looks at those bros. They’re so happy playing with their LEGOs. I’m jealous.

While a Bloodborne 2 is clearly top of mind for many, rumors have swirled about a possible remaster of the game for PS5 in the vein of 2020’s Demon’s Souls Remake.”

Seems like their heavy hitters this season are: Is It Wrong to Pickup Girls in a Dungeon S4, Made in Abyss S2, and the new “When Will Ayumu Make His Move?”. They might also have some sleeper hits in there too, like “Ya Boi Kongming” ended up being last season.

I’m glad you liked Don’t Hurt Me My Healer but goddamn I bounced off that so hard. It just felt like strangers arguing for no reason to me

Yeah that’s correct, but what I’m saying is that it didn’t matter whether you leveled them up or ever put them in your squad before the final mission. All that matters is that you send the hacker to do hacky things , a strong psychic to do the psychic things, and a strong leader to lead the B squad, etc etc

I liked how Mass Effect 2 handled this with the suicide mission. It didn’t matter what their gear, talents, or levels were. The only thing that mattered was the immediate decisions you made to take advantage of each character’s canonical strengths.

I don’t wanna beat the series to death with sequels, but I really hope we get a Ghost of Tsushima 2 eventually. It was such a great example of an open-world game with restraint. The main story wasn’t overly long, and they didn’t litter the map with too much trash. Not perfect by any means, but an excellent example.

Meh, we know it’s on its way, and probably this year. With focused single player experiences like this I’m content to wait until it’s out and then play rather than disect any crumbs that fall out of Sony’s maw.

“We wanted to make it edgier because it’s MATURE!” generally gets a sigh from me, but Yoshi-P has earned enough goodwill that I’ll hold my breath for now...

A solid double or single A game can be a real treat sometimes. Especially if the developer goes in planning to make that. The Outer Worlds jumps out to me as a great example of a AA level game. Enjoyable, and a tight 8-10 hour story instead of 85 goddamn hours to beat.

I was also really excited thinking we were getting Far Cry 6! It’s a game I wanna play, but not enough to buy it haha

HEY! PHRASING!

I believe Bethesda only published it and it was actually made by Obsidian. Outer Worlds feels a bit short and low budget compared to a “proper” Bethsoft style open world game, but it is absolutely worth your time if you like the Fallout/ES style games.
