My favorite ‘feature’, one of many, of GM cars of that era were what I called Wishful Brakes. When you needed to stop quickly, you wished you had good brakes. I could lock up all 4 wheels on gravel, but was SOL on pavement. Guess they were anti-lock brakes before there was such a thing.

Most TSX last a long time. Must have gotten a bad one. Mine was a first model year carryover from 2003 European Honda Accord. They hadn’t really implemented first year corrections. At 76K I started having issues again. Alternator went out, PS seals, AC compressor imploding again, wheel hubs, headlight fogging, HID

4.  What the hell did your sister ever do to you?

The only picture in this whole article that doesn’t make me sick, but it is still a little bit of a buzzkill unless I focus closely on the on the soft bits.

The ‘15 WRX I had was trouble free outside of a bad battery. Same can be said of my ‘16 Accord. My quality disappointments have been with cars from earlier times.

Subaru needs to slow the heck down so they can address their issues before sales slow down due to.....issues.

At what point do you say the tractor isn’t really a tractor?

Roof tent. Cool idea, but not for me.

And bumper fish eye mirrors so that you can see if someone is in front or off your front fender.

If I was ever a truck buyer, they would have lost me as a customer when their commercial featured some tight pants twit saying the truck was a “bad mammer jammer”.

On the bright side, or maybe not, the Chevy corporate styling is no longer “Company Car Unoffensive”.

Nothing that another grill, bumper or chrome trim section won’t fix. The only problem will be whether they will have to lift the truck or angle the hood up to accommodate the additional height of the front.

I don’t know what the life span is for exposed, but undeveloped film is, but most of my old rolls of film that I’ve had developed, came out grey or so faded it wasn’t worth spending the money on. These were rolls of film that were used 10 or 15 years ago and then lost in drawers or boxes.

Another option where you might be able to get a good deal are former rental cars. Then again, they are former rental cars, so a close look and inspection is recommended.

It’s great that an American car company is being successful, if only by one or two secondary factors of success.

I thought of doing something similar to my car. You see, I work for a car company (not Tesla, so don’t <whatever> on me) and at the office they have <company> pride car parking in most of the lot and just about every other nice spot. The trick are the grill emblems.

I see the “Stern drivesor “Jet drives” and “Outboards” in more than a few places around lakes.

That could work. No one really expects great reliability or quality from Dodge or Chrysler, so if the re-badge Europeans fall short, its not like those brand’s scores will drop any more.

I would put the weight on the people that elect them. As Lightfoot’s win shows, it is possible to get someone in office that wants to fix the system. Now if only the people at the neighborhood level realize that thought they feel they are getting a good representative at the Alderman level, they are actually getting a

Gotta see how the whole book deal goes first. Still time though. Better to jump in late than too early and get lost in the crowd.
