Been throwing around the idea of a cabin out in the hills. Something off the grid running off a limited solar system. Nothing that would run 240V. However, if I have to, I’ll install the proper wiring, plug and breaker, but leave the breaker in “Off” position.

I wonder if these college graduates took any finance classes. Between not understanding what constitutes a good investment and the concept of compounding interest, they really set themselves up for some unpleasant experiences down the road with high debts and little retirement.

He didn’t have it paid off, but his parents paid the 20% down that saved him from paying PMI. I doubt he had more than 22% of the principle paid.

I’m seeing a trend more these days with the younger crowd. They are starting to factor their girlfriends into their backup plans. Not sure if this is because their family is less likely to put up with their poor planning or if the girls are becoming bigger fools. I’m guessing a little of both.

Yes it is from the company Brand lineup.

If you didn’t have to start one on a cold morning. They would eventually start by the time a mild afternoon rolled around or you used half a can of starter fluid.

Hell! I’ll save my money and skip to the wine part. All is great I guess until I wake up in the morning and trip over all the empty wine boxes in an attempt to find the Advil.

GMC has the Acadia and I’m thinking this is the Chevy brand equivalent of that. Maybe not exactly on the same product, but from level in the lineups.

If modern politics weren’t so bad, here’s a bit of mind blowing news. 1993 is the future, in the near future. All things come round again, but like a copy, a little more mutated.

1st Gear: Look back at the fuel prices in 2008. High, really high. Trucks were being heavily discounted. You could get easily more than $10K off just as a starting point in negotiations. Therefore, when you need to factor in fuel prices when evaluating WHY truck prices seem to have risen so much. There is also, as
