I noticed the same thing also. Not about the seats, but about dating. I don’t recall ever dating anyone while I owned it.
In defense of the Citation.....They were an awesome car if you were good at wrenching. As long as you could fix engine belts, coolant gaskets, oil leaks, engine mounts and struts/shocks every 5K to 10K miles as normal maintenance items, you generally could get from point A to B. Mine also has advanced Stop(auto)-Start(…
Some insurance covers chip repairs fully w/no deductible. Full replacements usually are a normal claim and subject to deductible. Most people have between $500 and $1500 deductible per claim. On a side note, the more claims you have, the more likely it is that you will have your rates go up. Even if a repair is…
1St Gear: I think we should count our lucky stars that none of the Cavaliers made their way into the hands of higher ups in the Japanese government. Revenge would have been a beech and I don’t think anyone would have wanted Japan to bomb Pearl Harbor all over again.
Detroit PD is a leading police force in the nation for pay, promotion and policing effectiveness...............said no one.
A note on when warranties start.
You get to pay more for parts, because BMW. When the car gets older, you get to wait longer for service at more specialized shops and pay more for it, because BMW.
My late uncle had a Model A in excellent shape. Some paint worn, but no rust. Running condition. He was a hoarder of electrical lab equipment. He finally pulled the Model A from the garage and got it running, but never managed to get it back into the garage. Over the course of one winter in the mountains, the wooden…
Who’s fault is that? If you’ve never been taught how to do it, are you responsible for not spontaneously gaining the knowledge of how to do it? Maybe we should insist it be part of grade school curriculum, I don’t know, but I do know that people who’ve never been shown how to be financially responsible rarely ever…
Maybe this is an indication that Cadillac is giving up on mimicking the German lux brands and could be thinking of keeping pace with the market transition to electrified vehicles.
That’s my father in-law in a nutshell. It’s just short of amazing to him that I know how to do a brake job, swap out CV axles or change headlight bulbs. I think that its pretty amazing that he thinks my skills are amazing considering he was a doctor.
The vehicle owner may also starve to death trying to pay the bill.
I envision something like Porshe Panamera, but more porky and a top speed far below Mach 1.
So they aren’t really fixing the pre-tensioners. They are containing the emissions.
I’m thinking after the dedicated EV was killed, the engineers were pooping their pants because they got nothing. Then one bright fellow said “Hey, though it was before my time, I remember a legendary car called the “Mach 1". Let’s run with that name and hopefully we come up with something before the hype and mystery…
Things don’t get any better looking at the ass end views of the Clarity series.
Too much $$$$ and effort to do that concurrently with the new Civic development.
Full disclosure. I work for a major auto company, but I’m not saying which one, because, you know, the reasons. Also, in spite of the ‘old school’ antics we sometimes have to work through, the company is still a great place to work. One of the best in the area.
Heck, I’d have not gone to college if it weren’t for horrible, low paying and non-redeeming value jobs.
