Cubs’ Baez, either in a show of solidarity or mockery (you never can tell with El Mago), waved his own scouting card from second base during the whole spectacle. Rather ridiculous, but then again.. Country Joe West, folks.

Owners who don’t pay for stadiums also irritate me. No normal business can expect a town to subsidize it’s rent, except maybe the Packers (as they are owned by the city). We look at the uniforms, and pine for the days of Ken Stabler, John Madden, and (briefly) Bo Jackson. That all we get out of it these days. Pining. And no, it is not fun. Especially when they do stupid things like this.

I guess it’s probably a good deal for the LA fans who make the trip every Sunday. Vegas is closer.

It never was or will be. I learned this firsthand pretty quickly when discussing this subject with a fellow NFL fan that I’ve known for years, . It only took about 3 questions in before dude revealed what is truly behind his anti-kneeling stance. He just doesn’t respect black people, or how they may experience life…

Oh man. You should always see the rangers play the o’s.  It’s like 50-50 the rangers will go off for 20 runs.

For someone who assumed Texas sports media does nothing but polish the Cowboys’ collective knobs (apart from ripping the team’s performance when applicable obviously), this is quite refreshing and kinda awesome.
