That’s a bit of a concern for sure, but honestly, as long as we can eat and explore, we don’t really care.  Just excited to experience the country for a few weeks.

We’re still going to Japan later this month, assuming nothing changes significantly and our flights aren’t cancelled. We’re young, healthy, and have the ability to work while quarantined (if that were to happen) or self-quarantine when we get back.

I’m actually going to be in Japan shortly after these launch (March 16th - 31st). What’s my best bet to pick them up in person?

If you come to Canada, or anywhere else in the world, try Cadbury anything compared to the one you buy in the US.

What’s it feel like, unironically having a take this objectively incorrect?

Those sound extremely good and now I want some.

Bold move with the hot dog gnocchi. I am into it.

We’re flying to Japan on March 15th and are obviously monitoring the situation closely. Although not officially, I know of a number of people who have had their flights changed or cancelled completely without penalty, even though Japan was not explicitly referenced in the airlines statement.

I’m fortunate enough to be in good health, and rarely get sick enough to actually take a sick day. I 100% have taken a sick day as a mental-health day before.

I suppose I take it for granted, but if I have a goal (I want to be more fit, I want to look better, I want to be stronger, etc.) I find it extremely easy to self motivate with the gym. It’s part of my daily routine, just like showering and eating and going to bed, and even on my scheduled off day, it feels weird

Yeah, my target is to be able to rep 1/2/3/4 plates for each of the compound lifts, so no crazy weights or anything like that.  I’ll play around with some grip work and hopefully it sorts itself out.

I’ve only been compound lifting for a year or so (and started with bench, so less than that for the other lifts) and grip is starting to become an issue with me for deadlifts. I can reliably pull 315, but once I start to rep it my grip gives out quickly. This is all to say i’m going to try what you’ve suggested above,

You just don’t want to be in no-man’s-land with some shitty knife that’s sharp enough to cut you.

Oof. Owned by a guy who has still misplaced 15,000 calories.

Just for clarity a liter of coke has 140 calories in it. You claimed to drink 4-liters.

seriously, we’re talking two extra large supreme pizzas a day and a two-liter of soda to go with each.

mind you I am an eating machine, my metabolism at the time was somewhere in the 15-25,000 Kcal range

Great, so what’s your point?

Which national chain *doesn’t have* “overpriced crap” on its menu, based on your definition?

Perfect. So according to the study you linked ~65% of Americans are financially literate which means ~65% of Americans should be prepared for retirement.
