No that’s definitely down to the engine. The engine fundamentally limits what their content creators are able to do unless their developers modify and upgrade it. Bethesda does modify the engine with each new game but they don’t make any fundamental changes that improve the overall feel of the games developed with it.…

There are some elementary ways we create our games and that will continue because that lets us be efficient and we think it works best.

I could not say it better. They look, feel, and perform the same. They start ugly as sin, and then modders make them look pretty. It’s a lazy way to work.

Well since both companies have been having a difficult go at it in recent years, being at the mercy of kickstarter campaigns, I’d say their odds havn’t gotten better or worse. 

I’m a PS4 owner and sold my XOne last year but with all of these things Microsoft has been doing recently, I think I’m going to get another Xbox, the One X specifically. Being consumer friendly gets you more customers.
