I agree with you. The political climate has really changed. We’ve always had the religious conservatives in the west fighting in favor of censorship, but new they have a new bedfellow in the form of progressive liberals who believe censorship is necessary in order to protect people from sexism or racism or whatever…

If the numerous stories from past employees and people who have worked on her show are true, which they probably are, she comes across as happy and chipper when the cameras are rolling but goes the complete other direction as soon as the cameras are off. She’ll chew people out and fire them at the drop of the hat.

Rosie O’Donnell is just terrible to everyone around her when the cameras aren’t rolling. Everybody who’s worked with her has the same story. Light goes out during rehersal? Fire the light guy. Intern asks for time off to go to their parent’s funeral? Fire the intern.

I had the exact same problem described in the question, just at a significantly younger age. Prozac turned out to be the cause of the issue and switching anti-depressants was the solution.
