I've tried to use a smartphone at open air NFL, MLB, and MLS stadiums with little to no luck. Just getting a text to go through is a challenge, let alone trying to get a weather app to load all the way.

Where in the country do cell phones work at professional sporting events?

Any Kotaku-ers ever play the text-based game Federation? It was a space-based commodity trading game but it borrowed heavily from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You started out hauling commodities for other people, you bought and sold your own, then you had factories, then a planet, then a group of planets.

He had a great November then fell off a cliff. Early in the season it was all talk about how the analytics showed him to be one of the best role players in the league, how OKC and Houston were falling over themselves trying to sign him, etc.

"That Oriental fella on the Jeopardy is picking the clues out of order!"

The frustrating thing about this whole Richard Sherman thing is that it was an excuse for ESPN, Deadspin, and sports journalists everywhere to rush to the forefront to declare how not racist they were by rising above the "outrage."

And yet the sports news consumers everywhere were subjected to ten thousand articles and talk pieces about WHY AMERICA CAN'T HANDLE A PASSIONATE BLACK MAN

My favorite episode along those lines is "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society."

I watched it for a solid 10 minutes of it before realizing that it was, in fact, a joke.

Stanley's Cup and Fat Butt and Pancake Head deserve to be on this list.

The biggest story of the game is that coveted shooter Dorell Wright can't seem to stay in the game.

Can't take a Claver-and-Barton-playing-meaningful-4th-quarter-minutes joke?

The Idaho Stampede.

Nice that so many people showed up to watch Portland's D-league affiliate face off against the Timberwolves

I love it. And they can't sue, because the truth isn't libel!

Working with developing or corrupt countries for sports involves getting your hands dirty. With Sochi, there were a few blips, but most of the corruption was within Russia itself. This Qatar thing is off the charts.

Everything about this is impressive

Tattoos are like a fashion accessory that never goes away. Seems like a good idea when you're in your 20s and think you've achieved the perfection of taste but it doesn't really play out well later on.

There's a weird meta thing here about getting a tattoo then complaining that your tattoo is causing you to be discriminated against.

Rich kids do coke or heroin, not meth.
