I need to meet this person. Do they not notice their car is dragging on the ground? Do they not care? Are they willfully ignoring it?

I think the problem comes in when people see the word "diet" as something you do temporarily. If you're a person who goes to the drive thru five times a week, you'll have better long term success if you try to cut that down to once a week instead of going on some crazy unsustainable diet.

I'm not sure how we got to this point, but it's bizarre to me that everyone seems to think that dieting to lose weight is something you do for a short period of time before going back to "normal." The truth is that long term health/weight loss is better done through incremental lifestyle changes. Diets and drugs get

Do newer cars without GPS (or OnStar or things like that) have the ability to transmit data back to the automakers?

How would you differentiate between the humor in, say, The Three Stooges and The Big Lebowski?

Japanese humor tends to rely on slapstick (which we in the west don't really find funny any more) or puns, which don't typically translate well. I loved anime when I was younger but I have a hard time watching it now.

Modern car windows aren't easy to break. If you watched the video, you'd see that they try to bash it in with a mallet unsuccessfully. With a rock you'll get there eventually, but a spark plug you'll get it in one try.

Does someone rub Country Crock on the lens before she gets her picture taken or are conventional cameras just unable to see clearly through her evil aura?

I want to know how societal views of things like abortion have to do with how traumatic they end up being.

I love the title. "The Lego Movie Videogame"

Who's worse: self-righteous cyclists or self-righteous hybrid drivers?

I'm going to make a Kickstarter to fund my book about people who make Kickstarters to fund their books about succeeding on Kickstarter.

So start someone who you don't expect to use, have them try to injure the opposing team's star, then sub in your normal team member when they get a red card.

In the Szczesny case, give him a yellow. Simple.

Especially with the Szczesny situation: the best thing for him to do in that situation, given the current rules, would have been to step aside and let the goal just happen. That alone means it's a bad rule.

"You're a disgusting excuse for a human being"

I'm not defending their actions, just kind of confused about what we're supposed to be doing about it.

Thanks for that.

The problem is the expectation of privacy in the social media age. There's no way to make your pictures available to everyone in the world except for those who might jack off to them.

I never said it was ethical.
