Maybe in the days of broadcast TV this would be required, it was often impossible to catch up on long running series. But in this digital age this is really not required and just a Netflix cash grab, most of One Piece early arcs have already been remade as theatrical films if you want a condensed format.
First off, I’m not the internet - just Doma is fine for this particular arena.
ftfy, cuz WOW
This is kind of what I think. TLJ should have been a trilogy ender not a middle piece. Oh well. I still think TLJ is a great Star Wars movie.
even funnier that he probably had to read a weird color-coded version with only his dialogue and had to piece together what happens.
His arc was great from TFA to TLJ. It took a nosedive in TROS when his redemption came via deus ex hallucination of his dead father with recycled dialogue.
arguably the most valuable and beloved IP in entertainment at the time
I would be troubled by Han’s death not just being in vain, but contributing to Ben’s final transformation into Kylo.
Fun to hear that people who were actually inside the production were as surprised as the general public that they decided to wing it with arguably the most valuable and beloved IP in entertainment.
Well yeah this gives them sole control of the data scraped and can then further their advertising monopoly. It’s not like they won’t freely hand it to anyone willing to pay so it doesn’t cut the thousands out just makes it’s pay to play. So sure nothing will go wrong shortly afterward.
Websites can ask Chrome what categories you’re in, but they won’t be able to figure out exactly who you are...
I thought his arc was about how he changes a small town for the better and, shockingly, the small town changes him, too.
But my understanding is that he regretted taking the role because it can stick to you.
What we saw in the last three weeks ... you mean the three most widely seen and well-received episodes of the show in years?
And tbh, that’s not a bad solution. “You’ve come into my personal timey-wimey field, so it reflects on you from my perception, but you’ll be back to normal when you go home...” is far, FAR better than if they tried to use some shonky zombie de-aging tech (esp on a BBC/Who budget!), and at least tries to nod toward an…
You forgot the subtitle.
Here’s someone with probably a $40-$50m net worth who has lived a life of endless luxury since the 90s. Its 30 years later, he’s aged, and not the “hotter younger” brother of Frasier, but an old man too. He can only either get a “hey this isn’t terrible but wow that guy looks old” or very badly embarrass himself for…
Speaking with the LA Times, Pierce revealed that there’s no shocking secret behind his decision not to join the show (which could’ve featured him and his brother running a theater together, but that storyline was scrapped)
Admittedly knowing very little about him, he strikes me as the kind of person who would prefer to do work that interests him over money he doesn’t need. Given that he was making about $1M per episode, I’m gonna guess he doesn’t need anymore money.
