Using 20something actors to play teens is incredibly common. Hell, some of the high school kids from Riverdale were played by actors in their early 30's. Sounds like you’re just looking for an excuse to complain.

I don’t see where it’s heavyhanded. Add it all together and trans stuff took up maybe 90 seconds in an hour-long story. They spent more time than that on the Meep’s made-up backstory.

Ideally they should have no characters whatsoever. Just slows everything down.

Deadpool 3 should do great. It’s hotly anticipated, has a different feel than Marvel’s other stuff, and also, it’s the ONLY MCU movie that will come out in the next 15 months. Being forced to slow the hell down can only work in Marvel’s favor at this point.

Does anyone actually give a damn about Kang besides Kevin Fiege? They’re going all in on a boring and confusing villain played by a guy who’s about to go on trial for domestic abuse. It’s baffling to me that Marvel is betting the whole franchise on this character. Not even Thanos ever got his name in the title.
