From the man who dared to ask, “What if toys could talk?” and “What if cars could talk” comes a new question: “What if my employees could sue?”

Turning Red was the most fun Pixar has been in ages and you put it in the Failed Spinoff Hole with Lightyear and Monsters U? PRISON!

That $250 million check from Amazon didn’t seem to rankle him too much. I guess his issue with the “commercialization” in adaptations of the books wasn’t anything that some of that Jeff Bezos money couldn’t fix.

I don’t think he’ll care either way given that he died two years ago.

Okay, here’s my plan for Green Lantern: What if he’s played by Deadpool’s flying head.

HBO Max does not ask users for their gender (I don’t know about Discovery Plus because I’ve never used it) and has no way of knowing how many people are watching on a given users’ account, especially if they live in the same household. Any data they have is gonna be incomplete at best, and will need to be patched with

Kudos to James Gunn for playing that just right. Now he gets to play in BOTH their sandboxes.

Sorry, I’m behind. Which Marvel movies has Churchill cameoed in?

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a bunch of complete unknowns under the Directed By credits of WB films in the next few years. What established director is going to want to work with a company that sees creatives as a liability and which is prone to cancel your film after it’s completely finished? Even newbie

The best part of this 10 year plan is that there doesn’t seem to be any “plan” involved. It’s just a bunch of general statements and buzzwords. If you break down what they said into an actual plan, they have nothing:

Excited for you to explain to us why you agree with Zaslav’s belief that there isn’t a single woman or person of color anywhere on the planet Earth who is qualified to sit on his board.

Man, the 2010's were arguably the best decade in history for TV animation, and apparently we’re going to be following it up with a massive contraction of the industry. First Netflix cancels virtually every cartoon it had in the pipeline for the crime of not being Boss Baby, and now WB, which has been one of the

Thank you! “Magical office workers” is my least favorite trope. I hate when writers take all these cool fantastical elements which are designed to contrast and escape the mundanity of real life, and the best they can think to do with them is “Uuuuuuuhhh what if like, we did The Office, but with, like, uhhhh unicorns.”

I like to think that it literally happened that way because that’s the most cartoony way to fire someone.

HBO is a brand that’s long been associated with high-budget scripted programs. It’s taken decades to establish that association.

Someday the Batman might get ‘im but the law never will.

I bet American Dad survives. The show’s rights are owned by Fox/Disney, and the entire series is available on Disney-owned Hulu, where it seems to do quite well. Once the TBS contract expires I’m willing to bet they just turn it into a Hulu original.

Well, I’m glad Doom Patrol lasted as long as it did, I guess. That spinoff is probably history, though.

Except she’s not a he. They’re pretty clear about that.

Right? Marvel might have the Avengers, but DC has the three most iconic superheroes ever created! And they were in one movie together for the first time ever! And DC managed to make no one care! Just a remarkable case of fucking up one of the easiest shots ever taken.
