Ah yes, chess. We all remember how Chess is a game where you exploit impoverished people into farming imaginary currency for your profit. That’s exactly how chess works.

He’s pro-active, huh?

Got it, you were a shitty employee. Okay, no need to tell the whole internet about it.

Yes, but I don’t think the solution is to root for the guy who made six Transformers movies.

For the same reason Simba hung out with Timon even though lions eat meerkats: he was saving him to eat later.

This explains their new CEO.

Film Twitter is just convinced that all film franchises are evil, which is hilarious in this case because Michael Bay is responsible for the biggest non-superhero movie franchise of the last decade, and if Ambulance hadn’t flopped he would have turned that into a franchise in a heartbeat.

Disney Executive: Well you see, we just wanted him to be without a shirt in the first game because that’s the classic design we always use for Mickey Mou-

Normura: I’M GOING TO MAKE AN ENTIRE GAME ABOUT THIS.

Man, these things feel like they have less to do with Disney with every installment.

The epic climatic battle between every Smash Bros character ever...will mostly happen offscreen while we follow Luigi and his human friend (who is a cop) as they attempt to hitchhike their way across Nebraska. Can they make it to the airport in time or will Luigi miss his flight to Final Destination?

These days most long anime circumvent this by just taking seasonal breaks. For instance, My Hero Academia is up to 113 episodes and I think they’ve done two filler eps this entire time (one being a recap of the story so far and the other being a tie-in with one of the movies.) Instead of the old model where a show

Also, Orochimaru has died and managed to come back more than once, so I think the leaders of the village are fine with just keeping tabs on him while he creates does Mad Science off in the boonies, because it’s not really clear if they even COULD execute him, at least not permanently. I think they have a mutual

Animation is propping up the entire film industry right now. All that CGI that big budget superhero movies run on is animation at the end of the day. The highest grossing movie of 2020, Demon Slayer, was animated. The highest grosser of 2021, Spider-Man, was like 80% animated. That’s not a bad thing at all! But what

Goddamn, did Encanto steal your lunch money or something.

NFTbros honestly think that taking out a second mortgage so you can afford to “own” a publically available picture of an ugly monkey is as revolutionary a technology as the internet itself. Cult behavior sure is fascinating.

Wow, so they’ve been useless for even longer, huh.

Gotta love how this supposedly revolutionary technology has been around for over a year now, and so far its done absolutely nothing except overcomplicate the process of saving a Jpeg, make video games less fun (“play to earn?” how about I play to enjoy, dumbshit?) and of course, vomit out a staggering amount of

“Your honor, how can my client be guilty of all these crimes when he’s a gamer? That does not make sense!”

Actually the original film version of Wonka wasn’t made by Warner Bros, they acquired the rights later. Since then they have done two remakes in the span of 12 years: the horrible Johnny Depp one, and the equally horrible animated one which inexplicably has Tom and Jerry in it.

Warner Bros totally can remake the books, because they like money and also they’re a little bit desperate. This is not to say that they SHOULD remake them. But I am certain that they want to. This is the same studio that remade Willy Wonka twice, the second time with Tom and Jerry. Good taste will not stop them.
