I don’t know if the burden of fulfilling that massive 70 episode order is wearing on the show’s crew or if they’re simply out of creative gas, but this show has rapidly turning into basically every other mediocre edgy adult cartoon: a bland assortment of time-filling parodies and shock humor which doesn’t seem to care

They’re just frightened of angering the sichuan sauce crowd.

Now that you mention it, Drawn Together had an episode about giant sperm, too. If you’re going to steal, steal from the worst!

Imagine having the opportunity to professionally review a 30 minute jizz joke and NOT giving it a D.

The first Judgement game sold extremely well in Japan, so my guess is that Sega won’t give up the franchise that easily. They’ll find some excuse to write Takuya’s character out of the series and replace him with a new lead played by another actor. And they’ll make damn sure that actor’s contract includes PC ports.

The collector isn’t going to play the game, they’re going to display it. So the box it’s displayed in needs to look as good as possible.

So the Yorknew City mafia is selling Faceball 2000? The primitive first-person shooter where you hunt down and kill smiley faces?

His underworld connections are well-documented.

This game sold nearly 12 million copies and only five of them are in such good condition. Which means you didn’t think of this either, and neither did roughly 11,999,994 other people. So get off your high horse.

Oh shit, what am I going to do now that I don’t meet some internet rando’s definition of being a functioning adult.

I read the Thordis story years ago and I just gotta point out that the “startling shock ending” is just...very much written by a male writer from the 60's. As Thordis, Jane saves Asgard from destruction, and Odin rewards her by...taking her hammer away and giving it to Thor. But as a consolation prize, Odin makes Jane

Streamers ARE workers. Some jobs have different requirements than others.

Some cops aren’t bastards. They’re the ones who usually aren’t cops for very long.

I like how one post ago you were telling everyone to “acknowledge nuance” and now your big, nuanced take is, “YOU NO THINK COP IS PERFECT? FINE! NO COPS AT ALL THEN!”

So your stance is, “Only cops are allowed to have opinions about cops.” That sounds like a great way to make sure cops are never held accountable for anything. Why not just grow a pair and say “you shouldn’t have the right to question the people in charge” since that’s clearly what you’re getting at?

The whole reason police departments have a PR team is to manage headlines like these. If they’re not responding then that’s just another example of cops not doing their jobs.

The McElroy Brothers have an incredible comedy bit about this very subject.

Remember always what our Lord told his flock: “Follow me.” And he went on to say, “Set me free. Trust me and we will escape from the city.”
