Not quite - what they’re saying is UAW employees pay 3 to 4 percent of their total healthcare premiums with the automakers picking up the remaining 96-97%. So if healthcare premiums are $500 per month for a typical worker, a UAW member pays about $20 per month for healthcare coverage while the average US worker pays $1…
I’m fascinated by his videos. Namely in that they’ve been steadily, consistently getting worse over time with no obvious or singular fall from grace. It’s kind of impressive.
CP just for the “VANRS.”
If someone had told me five years ago that Mazda may be the biggest competing threat to Tesla’s then-forthcoming Model 3, I would’ve laughed until I collapsed.
I’m pretty sure I played against somebody with this car in Rocket League last night.
The perfect place to get your XBone going.
Five years ago I wanted a Tesla. Five years of seeing how the typical Tesla fan conducts themselves later...I’ll be buying a Chevy Bolt.
Explains why they’re all so neglected out on the road. If they can barely afford the payments they definitely aren’t keeping up with the minimum, much less recommended, maintenance
Holy crap, it starts at only 29k or so and tops out fully loaded well short of 40? I thought it was easily another 10k above all around.
I guarantee you I wouldn’t think any less of Tom Brady based on what car he drives. It’s impossible to despise him any more than I already do.
Overconsumption of Polteageist may result in Muk.
I never understood the need to keep up appearances when you have a job that does all the appearances for you. Who cares what car you drive? You’re licensed to pilot a motherfucking JET. Keep your cash and come up with some great retorts for the ribbing that the superficial tech bros and venture cap babies feel they…
Indeed, whether food’s going to be eaten in a car is a factor in deciding what car to buy, period. I can count the number of times I’ve eaten in my car in four years of ownership on one hand, and my passengers don’t get that luxury.
Welp, I know what I’m buying as my roadtrip machine. Didn’t realize late-2000s LS460s could be had that cheap.
I’m just now realizing that I haven’t deep cleaned my interior in over a year, possibly year and a half, because I don’t have to. The most trash that car has ever accumulated didn’t even fill a single cupholder.
That’s the one! I loved it to death.
When I was younger I was fortunate enough to own the Lego Technics 1/8th (1/10th? I can’t quite recall) roadster - the one with working suspension, steering, 5 speed gearbox with reverse, V8 motor, pneumatic “soft top,” all that jazz. This evokes the same feelings and I wish it were a real Lego set.
Nobody was going to cross-shop a Tesla and a Porsche anyway.
While I agree that Turbo isn’t the right thing to use, “Taycan Overvolt S” sounds more like the name of an electronica album than a model of Porsche.
