If those great tracks aren’t willing to pay for a revamp, it’s hardly F1's fault that they’re choosing street tracks.

It’s impossible to put a race calendar together that makes perfect sense. They have to deal with scheduling 24 events in 21 countries over 9 months, all locations with their own climate, laws and restrictions as to when they can operate.

No.

Times aren’t officially confirmed yet, but will be the same as this season for pretty much all of them.

I don’t think many people really have an issue with three races in the US, even if they say they do. I certainly don’t have any issues with it.

Europe is, by a wide margin, F1's biggest viewership market. Vegas will be the penultimate round of the championship, meaning there’s a pretty realistic chance of this GP having significant title implications too.

Bit of nitpicking here, but 10PM in Vegas is 6am in the UK. For the rest of western Europe, which is F1's largest market, it’s 7am.

Plus it’s just a really cool track

While we can’t know for sure, Callum Ilott just finished his debut season in the IndyCar Series. He’s is the same age as Mick, and has had a virtually identical career up to 2020. He finished one position ahead of Mick (11th) in 2019 F2, one position behind in 2020 (2nd, though Ilott had one more win). Even in

You mean the team that finished 4th in the constructor’s in their final two full seasons?

Yeah this was much better

Nobody really cares too much about that second Williams seat until they prove they can build a competitive car, and Zhou is pretty much certain to re-sign for another year at Alfa Romeo (especially since Pourchaire had such a shaky year in F2).

Herta has had a season in Europe back in 2016, and even though he wasn’t yet ready for the main F3 series at age 16, 7 poles, 7 wins and 14 podiums in 28 races across Euroformula/Spanish/British F3 are strong indicators that he would’ve had a successful GP3/F2 career leading up to F1. Instead he chose to go back home

Bianchi’s accident didn’t happen under safety car conditions. The problem with Bianchi’s crash is that the race should’ve never happened in the first place.

F1 could easily increase the fuel sample requirement for races, with the caveat that the old fuel sample minimum will only be valid for green/white checker races. That way they have extra fuel to spare in case of such a finish.

Depends on your definition of “star”, I guess. None of those three really have star potential (by F1 standards). But Herta is the same age as Sargeant and has performed in a much tougher series for years now. His stats may be erratic, but his peaks are really, really good. 7 wins and 11 podiums (all on road/street

Red Bull supported five F2 drivers at the beginning of this season, spread out over four different teams (RB obviously dropped Juri Vips mid-season, though Hitech kept him on).

I hope he takes the time he needs to recover. Singapore is going to be awful for Williams anyway, and it’s generally the toughest race for the drivers, physically.

Leave it to Ferrari to launch a special yellow livery on a yellow background.

It’s not the uber F1 fans that come up with this shit, it’s the DTS legion that rather follow the races on twitter than on their actual TV set.
