Sauber deal fell apart, he played it through the media. Then tried to get the other teams to agree to let him join, played that through the media. But most importantly: he joined forces with Ben Sulayem at a time when F1 teams were basically gearing up for war with the FIA boss.

Joe Roberts is pretty decent. Not a star and definitely a late-bloomer, but he could latch on in a lower-end team in MotoGP. There’s also an American satellite team in the premier class now. Not sure why you’d need an American brand though.

Yes, that’s the dumb headline.

Or maybe this deal doesn’t entirely revolve around America.

Also, this

Such a bad argument. They have to make the best of every single opportunity. Those regular 9th and 10th places aren’t going to be there this season with a clear separation between the top 5 and bottom 5 teams. Albon has proven that he’s Williams’ best shot to capitalize if an opportunity arises. Sucks for Logan, he

Yeah, sure, Max didn’t get overtaken because his car’s too big.

I think the Red Bull Racing ship has sailed a long time ago for Yuki. They’d probably be willing do deal with his emotional outburst if he had the performances to back it up, but let’s be honest: the only time he truly seemed comfortable and impressive is when he went up against De Vries.

On lap 44 Yuki was still three seconds ahead. Ricciardo only fully closed up on Yuki on lap 49, and Yuki ended up taking two laps to let Ricciardo past after getting the call. He shouldn’t complain.

The irony is that Yuki’s hotheadedness is exactly the reason why Red Bull seems to prefer Ricciardo. Last time they went for a driver who was all over the place emotionally, they had to replace him mid-season. I wouldn’t even consider Yuki if I’m Red Bull, guys like him crash and burn in a high-pressure environment

Absolutely. This also isn’t Verstappen vs Horner; this is Red Bull GmbH vs the Yoovidhya family. The Verstappens (along with Helmuth Marko) have sided with Austria, Horner is very closely aligned with the Thai family that owns 51% of Red Bull Racing. I’m very much inclined to believe the rumors that Horner wants

And what about 2026/27/28? Are you sure they’ll dominate those seasons too?

AMR had the bare carbon in the same spots last year. Guess it wasn’t noticeable.

The Alpine design itself is actually really good. They just forgot to color in the main part.

I honestly don’t think Perez is in a battle with anyone. There’s no way he’s getting an extension.

There’s been Sainz/Audi rumors for a while now, but I think he’d be perfect for Red Bull. They could be one the winners of this deal, since he’s probably their best option.

Liberty isn’t trying to get Andretti in, the FIA is. Which is the whole problem considering Liberty/F1 teams and FIA have been headed for war ever since Ben Sulayem became president of the FIA. He wants more control over F1 and the more he’s been trying to brute-force grid expansion, the more the teams are digging

This is not a rejection of GM, it’s a rejection of Andretti.

It’s not about Andretti, even though I’m pretty sure at this point that the teams aren’t crazy about his antics. The problem is that he’s allied himself with Ben Sulayem, and there’s been a war brewing between the teams and the FIA for a year now. It’s a middle finger to Ben Sulayem.

The layout on the simulator won’t be wrong, all teams receive laser scans from a third party and then implement them into their own software. But depending on how old/new the scan is, there might be some stuff like bumps that are a bit off.
