Fittipaldi has been their test driver since 2019.

He’s almost certainly the worst of any fulltimer since 2016, when the Superlicense requirements were made significantly tougher due to the immediate implementation of the ‘Verstappen rules’. Before that, a superlicense could basically be obtained by anyone who could do a full race distance in testing without killing

Fittipaldi isn’t really that good, so I would assume Haas would be looking elsewhere if they get to replace Mazepin.

I mean, they could’ve just not signed a pact with Uralkali at all. But they’re not the best at making sponsorship decisions, that’s been clear for a while now.

As a Dutchie, I can confirm that nobody cares if you call our country ‘Holland’.

The phrasing of F1's statement means they haven’t quite canceled it yet; but it’s clear they’re gonna. I’m assuming they wanted to get something out there before the weekend so not to look bad, yet they still need to work on some of the contract stuff in order to outright cancel the event.

Max get’s not credit for “preferring” not to race.

Also no excuse for finishing second worst of all regulars.

True, but he also had a full season of experience on Piastri, who was a rookie. I actually don’t think either of them are the best driver of that 2020 class.

Except he’s really not in a position to get to F1 very soon. To qualify for a super license I believe he’s gonna need to end up top 5 in F2 next year, which is quite unlikely. The good news is that he has a good drive with Carlin, the bad news is that his (younger) teammate is one of the pre-season favorites for the

Valtteri spends the rest of his career doing his best Kimi impersonation

This is true. I think if Masi would have the ability to go back in time, he still wouldn’t have gone with a SC finish. But a red flag/rolling start would’ve been a more ‘fair’ abuse of his powers (that’s a weird sentence).

And how would you advise race fans to make more sustainable choices?

Sargeant is 21 years old, and has three full F3 seasons under his belt with only moderate success.

I love how Formula E just keeps trying to cater to everyone except motorsports fans.

Not really true. There seem to be only two mindsets here: longer sidepods creating a tunnel underneath (Aston/Ferrari/Alfa Romeo) that works towards a tighter coke bottle area; and a heavy sloped sidepod as has been more popular in recent years (Williams/McLaren/Mercedes). The Mercedes is the most extreme case here,

That Eagle picture gave me chills. That’s so fucking goodlookin’.

‘Pretty slow’ is a bit of an understatement. These cars were running Porsche Supercup pace at Monaco, which is a track that suits FE a lot more than the Porsche.
