I’m assuming they’ll treat those Friday sessions as they do currently with the young drivers tests; meaning they wouldn’t have to qualify for a super license yet.

Mercedes doesn’t own Williams.

I think ‘he knew what he was doing’ simply implies that Max went for the pass-or-crash. That’s not the same as intentionally taking someone out. Lewis was also very much in ‘don’t back down’ mode in Silverstone.

Not denying he’s a dick, but there’s no way he could’ve fathomed in the moment how close his rear tyre came to Lewis head during the crash. As his car was resting on Lewis’s front axle, there was no danger whatsoever.

Yet there’s nothing in the sporting regulations nor the driver code that points to a guilty party in yesterday’s accident. But dishing out penalties is always at the stewards discretion, and I think they came to a solid conclusion.

Oh, absolutely. While I think that technically he may have been able to get away with it, since he really didn’t do much wrong ‘by the book’, he was clearly in pass-or-crash mode. I can live with the relative minor penalty, given what happened in Silverstone. They are pretty much even now, though something tells me

Well, let’s investigate, since Elizabeth clearly couldn’t be bothered:

Nobody’s who’s even remotely in contention for an F1 drive is moving anywhere else. It’s not a thing.

Exactly. F1 isn’t losing its best talent to IndyCar, it’s losing its B-level talent to IndyCar.

Ah... yet another lost talent for F1.

Ilott and De Vries are not more talented than Tsunoda (who’s admittedly having a puzzlingly awful rookie season).

I mean, he’d be one of the better drivers in Indycar, so it might be a solid option for him.

Well...

I mean, it’s a matter of the pros and cons of today’s junior programs. It’s great to have a siginificant portion of your junior career financed by a current F1 team, but it limits your options once you get to F1. Piastri is an Alpine junior, and they really only have two seats to fill each year.

Thanks goodness Lewis never complains.

I think the fact that Hamilton was trying to back his out from under Verstappen’s car while Max was still in there, was a pretty decent indication that Lewis was OK.

I agree. This is what we had until Spa 2008. Because of twats who like to complain about everything on the internet, it changed to the current system. Well done.

If it is, then it’s also time to once again note that Senna was lying through his teeth in this interview.

Lundgaard is actually a perfect example because A) he’s in the Alpine academy, and he’s well behind Piastri in the pecking order and B) he’s the current teammate of Pourchaire, who’s completely outshining him this season. Those 2 guys, along with Liam Lawson, WILL be in F1 in 2023, because they’re younger and more

And 90% is more talented than any Indycar driver.
