Indeed. Over 30 dollars for 2 beers at a recent concert is highway robbery.

I mean, after I’m done spending $70 on a ticket plus $40 in fees, yeah the first thing I want to do is spend $20 on a light beer.

How about concerts are too expensive and people who go to them don’t want to spend money on overpriced refreshments?

The earliest dates that are used to define Gen Z are 1995-2012. Half of this generation aren’t of legal age but hey, damn those 13 years old who are killing the booze industry, right?

When my friends and I were in Paris, we would basically just stop every afternoon after our tourist stuff and pick up baguettes and fruits and cheese from someplace along our way home. Oh my god we ate so well.

Yes.

Ironically, a large amount of the durum wheat used in Italian pasta is grown in Yuma, AZ. Italy does not farm enough hectares of durum to sustain its pasta industry and the quality is not as high as the AZ stuff, so they mix a certain percentage of AZ durum into the mix.

My understanding is the AZ durum is what gives

VA Beach resident here. I think he means that this city isn’t dependent on tourism and doesn’t shut down in the off season, so our restaurants are made to cater to locals as well as tourists.

“There’s a Wendy’s within a 60-second walk from my apartment”

In the context of a family vacation, that would be kind of lame for whomever normally prepares meals as it becomes not a vacation for them if they have to shop, cook, clean, etc.

Nonna’s everywhere are at the ready to make their pasta making skills shine!

I like to cook, but I relish the chance to try local restaurants when I travel, and to not have to plot out groceries and ingredients for a week. I also don’t usually travel the way Danny describes, in a big vacation rental house with family. My vacations with my in-laws have either been to Disney World or on a cruise.

The barrista is an employee. Why the fuck would they care about 3, it’s costing them nothing. Starbucks is losing revenue, not the barrista. FFS

I’m looking forward to this because I love Wendy’s chili. But this might be a one time thing for me because 5 bucks a can is kinda expensive.

If I should ever get around to worrying about what someone pouring me a cup of coffee thinks about me, I’ll try to remember this article. But I won’t.

Doctoring your own espresso

They’ve had it at least since the days that they had an actual 99 cent menu, which was the best (Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, sour cream and chives baked potato, chili, small fries, cone, etc...).

I’d be interested in how it tastes compared to the ~$2 Wolf brand chili.

Fuck tipping. Enough of this bullshit. Stop blaming customers when employers refuse to pay their workers.

I am not fucking tipping for a fucking coffee. They don’t make 2$ an hour like waitresses
