The “intactness” of the sandwich wasn’t in question. Both the OP and I pointed out the chewiness of bagels (and english muffins) which make them inferior sandwich making materials. I can’t think of any other sandwich/wrap-making materials which “fight the bite” that much.

I don’t trust any reporting that can’t maintain consistent labeling on its map. North Dakota gets the Hot Tamales logo, but Minnesota and New Mexico just get an image of the candy, implying that it’s an option other than Hot Tamales? Throw away these lies!

I would like to add that English Muffins are also often times too chewy. I always go with the biscuit option/sub biscuit when ordering at McDs (or McGriddles if I’m feeling “wild” that morning) and if I’m out at a restaurant I’ll even ask if they can serve their Eggs Benedict on toast instead. It’s just too chewy to

Agreed that the Steak, Egg, and Cheese was the best, but it was also the worst. I thought I was just working with bad McDs everytime I’d get a grease slicked bagel, but no, there it is for you as well - they’re just supposed to be made that way (?) and it’s just really disgusting. This isn’t the French Dip of the

Or maybe don’t try to write jokes while drinking coffee and having sex ;-)? Wouldn’t the first line make so much more sense with the second one if it read “I find my coffee consumption has major effects on my sex [life]”

No commercially available potato chip goes well with caviar. If you’re using a premium ingredient like caviar you want that to shine in each bite, but the saltiness of potato chips competes way too much with the saltiness of the caviar so you end up losing the flavor/contrast in the mix. I suppose there are no salt

I haven’t “switched”, I mostly drink coffee, but sometimes I’ll switch to tea to change things up.  My point in mentioning it is that it doesn’t trigger my bowel, nor does any other hot liquid, in the way that coffee does.

“If you’re looking to pick a fight in Texas”

I don’t think chips have a place in snack mix. They shatter too easily and they’re often oversized compared to the other items in the mix. Chips should be kept as their own separate snack item where they can shine on their own without interrupting the eating experience of the other snack mix components.

I really would like to see a study that includes decaf coffee because I do believe a lot of the benefits of coffee are psychological as reinforced by the larger coffee culture in our country. I realized recently that even the smell of brewing coffee will have me heading to the restroom for my morning evacuation (black

And for any price increases they still get the benefit of 96% of the increase. The “rising tide” raises both corporate’s and the franchisees’ boats.

And the % has been static. If prices rise the franchisee still get the most benefit from the change.

It’s been a static percentage. If prices go up, they pay more money to corporate, but not a higher percentage. They’re still getting to keep the other part they don’t pay to corporate which includes the increased money they get from higher pricing.

Full disclosure: I actually like Gritty and have Gritty merch even though I have no connection to Philadelphia or interest in hockey - but it was so easy to point out once I saw your profile pick 😂

You scoop the ice cream by sort of ramming it into the ice cream until the cylinder is packed full. Then, when you squeeze the handle a plunger pushes the ice cream out of the cylinder, the bottom is pretty flat so it makes it easy to stack multiple scoops.

“End game capitalism” bwah ha ha ha 😂. Someone’s been getting their education on economics from Tik Tok (and the term is “late/end STAGE capitalism”)...

Whatever sympathy I might have had went out the window with “For the first time in almost 30 years”.  Menu prices certainly haven’t stayed the same for 30 years, why shouldn’t they have to pay more for raking in the money as franchisees?

Pretty sure the people who represent/assist him secretly hate him or have no qualms about ripping him off - which I’m 100% fine with

Why is that person still even a thing at all? And I really don’t feel bad for any business that would try to work him and then gets screwed over (even though I love Popeye’s) because what did they expect?

And crullers don’t get most of their texture from the wheat flour, they get it from the protein in the eggs used to make the choux pastry dough.
