I almost feel bad dismissing troll burners like the one I just did. I do believe in the first amendment but the paradox of tolerance is a real and dangerous phenomenon.

Put a caption on every article saying, “don’t get your news from Facebook.”

Teach people better critical thinking skills and this shit goes away all by itself.  If you’re getting your news from Facebook, you’re doing it wrong.

This isn’t just tone deaf, it’s the example you hold up to explain what tone deaf is.

I refuse to call him anything but the Republican President because I don’t want anyone forgetting who put him in office, especially when they try to play the heroes and kick his shit out of there when he stops being useful.

Give the monocle-poppers a fainting couch and some pearls to clutch.

Dear Nancy and Chuck, I have written your speech for you: “Mr. President, you promised to build a wall and that Mexico was going to pay for it. Why are you asking us for money to do it?”

Instead of actually redacting whole paragraphs of the document, Manafort’s attorneys apparently just colored the text and background black and filed the paperwork as-is

Jesus, these people really are making Dry January a fucking challenge this year.

Trump was not elected by a majority, so this situation should never have happened.

Just because the Wall Street Journal say they reached out to the White House doesn’t necessarily mean they did, or that they’re reporting the response accurately. It’s called “due diligence”, and, yes, it’s a fundamental principle for any reputable journalist.

There’s no way in hell the Republican President used the word “capitulating”. This is someone else interpreting the change in his tantrum.  He’s gone from arguing about whether or not he was out and is now taking his ball and going home.

Instead, Cooper focuses on—you guessed it—how we might pay for all this.

Someone should tell these guards to rob a bank. Then they could be living the high life of a federal prisoner.

“America isn’t ready” == “This makes me uncomfortable.”

Pelosi should just come out and say, “We agree the humanitarian concerns should be addressed and will include $800 million to do that, but no border wall.”  Throw it back at the Republicans.

I’m of the opinion the Democrats should put the $800 million in the budget, no questions asked, and not a fucking cent for a border wall.  Let the Republicans reject it.

Trump also claimed that his “wall” no longer will be a concrete wall, but rather a steel “barrier,” and that it will somehow help the U.S. steel industry recover.

I hate how the precision of this word has been lost due to misuse by morons.
