Yeeeeeeah, I forget about ByKolles sometimes and I think ByKolles does, too. They showed off plans, but I haven’t seen much else in terms of progress from them, so I just don’t think it’s plausible that they’ll get it together in time. (If they do, it’ll probably crash out or catch on fire anyway...as ByKolles’ cars…

AFAIK, it’s down to just Toyora and Glickenhaus who are well on their way for season 1 of the new Hypercar regs, which is a yikes.

Tommi also managed this in a Grp A specification car whilst the competition were using WRC spec cars, that for me speaks volumes of how impressive his achievements were in the Lancer Evolutions.

Group A was the best rally era. The best thing was that the cars were still super fast and the homologation rules made the customer cars relatively affordable. Basically, my dream garage starts with all the great Group A (and N) cars.

So GT300 class still has a solid entry list. Amg GT, Nsx, gtr, an occasional bentley.

The Esparante GTR-1 is one of my all time favorite oddball cars. It’s like someone looked at the Batmobile and said: “I’m gonna race that.”. I wish there was more footage of it in action because I know it sounds amazing.

That’s cuz of the new regulations they started two years ago. Massively improved aero = helluva lot more downforce, especially for the rear. Just look at some of those wings!
