Exactly. People get pretty outrageous. I went to one about 100 years ago that was held in the skybox of the Orange Bowl. Cake was cut on the 50 yd line and half the team was there. A local sportscaster called the candle lighters. And I know that would be tame by today’s standards.

Any worse than having Nicki Minaj at a Bar Mitzvah?

I think this was a late addition. At one point in an early episode there was a quote about having four children because they didn’t want five. But maybe midway through the season?

I don’t think you’re being grumpy, but there’s also a super long tradition of secular Jews making a farce of these sorta aspects of traditional Jewish life. Like I don’t see this as any better or worse than the standard Mel Brooks fare (which I for the most part love).

I'm kinda into these leg cuts and hope they're making a comeback. My best feature is my legs and I feel this would show them off nicely

Zoe Kravitz (Lisa Bonet’s daughter) has said that her mother is disgusted and concerned by the Bill Cosby scandal. But that she doesn’t have any relevant insight to bring into the conversation.

“Can we, should we separate the man from the fictional character who we all exalted, loved, needed, and in some respects, worshiped the idea, the notion behind?”

Well, to be fair, that’s a first season photo, which was before Sondra was a character. She’s actually a case of reverse-Chuck, since there’s a clear line in season one where Claire asks:

“What do we have four children?”

To which Cliff replies:

“Because we did not want five.”

Then, suddenly, there’s a fifth!

I believe that’s a season 1 photo. Sandra didn’t show up until season 2.

“are you sure”

Also, I bet there was some METHod to their madness.

Probably not.

Especially when your billion dollar inheritance depends on it. :p

I’m not sure if I would feel comfortable calling my dad an asshole on TV even if he was being an asshole. I don't think I would be supportive of him either.

Things that make him even hotter:

I was inclined to vote no but then I saw how he named his number one enemy as the “National -pause- Rifle -pause- Association” and my liberal commie knickers dropped.

In fact, if someone elected not to rush to the aid of her or his family, regardless of the ccircumstances, then that person needs to reexamine a whole lot about their existence.

Seriously. That would be a story worth telling.

Right!? What else would you do?

OK seriously, though — is there anyone (bride or not) who WOULDN’T rush to the side of their injured father or grandparents? I can’t even imagine getting the call and going, “Oh well, I’m sure they’ll be fine, I need to go make my grand entrance at my reception.”
