I had no idea about Tamron's sister. Tamron is consistently the best thing on The Today Show at this point, and what a heartbreaking segment. It is always a little surprising when TTS does quality stories still.

Obviously that only applies to women that don't support Taylor, duh.

Completely ignoring the video/everything in it, the song is just plain horrible. I am not a big Taylor Swift fan but some of her songs off of Red were catchy/fun pop songs (specifically We are never ever getting back together) so I decided to listen hoping I would have a new gym song. Nope. This is just bad.

I don't really care for Pumpkin Spice Latte's but in the fall I make a pumpkin butter that I then use in my oatmeal. SO delicious. The only good thing about cooler mornings is being in the mood to eat oatmeal again, hot breakfast just doesn't appeal to me in the summer.

I like Ann Curry fine, but she is seriously a terrible fit for the Today Show. She needs to be free of her NBC contract so she can work freely as a reporter because she does not do well with dumb morning show puff pieces.

Honestly, the classmate is probably her parents' PR team since it is in People.

Rumor has it she is her father's favorite because she is independently successful too, without just living off her family name/money.

If dairy bothers you/you have an allergy it is usually better to avoid lactose and casein, at least this has been my experience. I suppose I could have an intolerance to both, but generally going dairy free is easier (and quicker to say).

Lol MTE. I only recognize her face from reality tv, and I vaguely follow the fashion world enough to know the a-list names.

Same. I developed early so at 11/12 I am sure I looked older, but even then I looked 16 at the oldest. I would go to the mall or take a walk around my neighborhood I would have constant attention by creepy older men (~20+) at the time I never understood just how gross it was.

Lol no it is not. No Chuck Lorre sitcom is better than the "vast majority of 30 minute sitcoms." Chuck Lorre sitcoms are the epitome of mediocre tv comedies. It is straight up offensive with stereotypes at times, and stupid at best.

I'm talking about pop culture world as a whole, not just my social media circle, there is not a blog/magazine that covers tv that does not have huge sections dedicated to GOT (and BB when airing). They were/are all over magazines, and even on the news. I don't even watch GOT but everywhere I went (public transit,

Ah, yes a perfect example!

She was 17/18 during filming and I would expect a little more from the average 18 year old.

One of the things that annoys me so much about is how superior some people I have come across feel for watching a 'nerdy/science' show. Like I'm glad you get jokes that relate to HS level science? BBT is certainly not an example of 'smart' comedy like some people seem to think.

Not to mention how much they will continue making in syndication even if they never work again.

It makes sense considering Alicia Silverstone actually mispronounced 'Haitians' when filming Clueless, and they decided to keep it in because it fit the character.

Both of their wikis say they are still married..

Still there are shows that still have a BIG impact on pop culture (Breaking Bad) even if the audience is not as sizable as it once was. This show has more viewers than almost anything else on tv, but w/ little influence on pop culture landscape. Hell, I hated HIMYM, but that show was definitely a pop culture thing

It is pretty close overall - BBT hasn't broken 20 million, Friends averaged around 25 million across seasons (some closer to 30, but they never dipped below 20).
