Is this Jezebel or your live journal blog?

David, I agree with your reasoning and practice—especially with tech-centric pieces. The “lifehack” and “adulting” are the worst content recycles. I recall two very similar articles about lemons published around Feb-March. I wade through all the headlines because there are enough gems in the mix but the gems are less

I did not catch the original report before I found it here.  Lots of crap content here--recycling their own material with new publish dates (like all magazines, ever)--but this is a decent piece IMHO.

Are you being critical of Google for not releasing the list of 24,000 apps or Brendan for not breaking into Google HQ to secure the list for this piece? You make it seem like he left us without a course of action, but he included a list of things you can do to protect yourself.  It is a good list.

Heads up: The announcement appears to be going out to everyone, not just those that need to sign up for 2FA. Also, the 2FA relies on text messages which is super-weak, especially given the Nest price-point and Google’s talking points about the importance of securing the automated home. IMHO, both the overly broad

The slideshow format sucks.

How old does your cream get before are look for ways to use it quickly? Radiated dairy has a super-long expatriation date. I’ve never noticed a qualitative difference on the rare occasion when ours sits a bit longer in the fridge.

I am especially interested to hear David or someone associated with Bookshop respond to this. Please don’t leave us to speculate. Also, great question LeBron.

Put your tools in the bottom inventory row and new items are less likely to pop into spaces vacated by broken tools.

Excellent article.  Thanks.

Excellent article.  Short, important and actionable.  I would like to see more like this on Kinja sites.

Excellent advice. Would prefer a clearer (less click-batey) title and less dramatic delivery. If I want drama, I’ll visit food twitter. I’m here for the life advice.

Nice. Jolie should have investigated beyond the first page of amazon.com “cable management” search hits.

Wish granted! 🧚‍♂️

🏆  Best Lifehakcer piece of the year thusfar.  Many thanks!

I don’t understand the value of the slides format to me (as a reader). One page with the content of each slide as a subheading is easy enough to navigate with my scrollbar.  Reading the article was much slower and more cumbersome as a slide show.

It has been less than a month since the Skillet’s last lemon-centric post.

This is cute. I would love to see a syndicated Lifehacker piece featuring this lady—even if it were scripted by the current Lifehacker staff. Also, thanks for the text summary of the video.

I only want to speak to the inability to open the images directly; not the other degraded features. I think it is reasonable to find images and URL of the page hosting that image but defer to that page to provide the full resolution image itself. It preserves the “vital function on the internet” and the hosts
