I like the idea of Kawhi bleeding the Lakers of options. It’d be great if 2018-19 was tanked by Lebron’s thirst for Davis. Then, after acquiring Davis, 19-20 was tanked because they were too thirsty for Kawhi.

Nowhere in that quote does he stipulate which borough of New York would be having a good offseason, so it’s technically prescient.

The only thing more Knicks than signing these guys and having them fail horribly is being so much of a disaster area that they can't sign them in the first place.
