I’m sure people would prefer there was nothing at all coming to the Switch so they could complain it “has no games” like they did with the Wii U. I suppose the “they’re only ports” argument will suffice if that doesn’t happen.

All games on Amazon have a 20% launch discount in addition to free launch-day shipping, so even if you only bought games and didn’t want the hassle of going to the store it could pay for itself. To me the major selling feature is the ease with which it goes from home console to portable. To my knowledge, nothing else even comes close to touching it in that regard.
