It’s amazing the persuasive power and influence sales can have on public opinion. Like the Vita, it became cool to hate the Wii U in the past few years, and I don’t think there’s much either system could do to reverse that fate.

I keep dreaming that someday they’ll release a range extender for the Wii U gamepad, but I think it’s wise to let that particular dream die now. Alas. I’d kill for the range to extend far enough to play in my bedroom as well, but hopefully the NX solves those problems as well.

The Wii U was actually sold at a loss when it debuted, though, making it all the more puzzling. Sure, apparently with one game sold it became profitable, but still.... I like the gamepad for off-tv play, but man, even if just due to bringing up the costs, it really shot them in the foot.
