Pet peeve and general thought on internet conversations: telling someone "you are wrong" isn't an opening gambit to make them interested in what you have to say. I think I was pretty even handed in saying I wanted to love it and it didn't happen: I wasn't just a prick about it.

On my PC, I started Skyrim, and I gotta say, I didn't love it. Got Mario Kart 8 2 says later and haven't gone back since. I also snagged a bunch of new Wii U titles, so I'm playing MK8, Wonderful 101, and Pikmin 3 which I just downloaded today (saved the download for my hopeful 2015 Platinum Club Nintendo status). On

I've tried to love it, and it really isn't doing it for me. The actions seem weirdly hard to control, the controls are imprecise, determining when attacks are coming is almost impossible so I take a bunch of stupid hits at random, I've had to restart entire sections because the game decided in the middle of a boss

Read that initially as "a herd of cats vomiting," and can't unread it that way. Impressive work by Totillo nonetheless.

I... just thought it was really interesting and creative and had a lot of fun with it and think the hardware for the Wii U is practically begging for a game like this. Not pure nostalgia on my end, but I think for some folks it might be.

Yeah, I think for those people the idea of plunking down another $300-500 on a machine to keep doing what they already do with their iPhone they already need as a phone, or computer they already need as a computer is an exceptionally hard sell. It'd be nice to see them convert and see what games can really do as a

Worth keeping in mind, thanks! I've wanted to play a similar game for some time, but the ones on PC are poorly optimized and/or need a better PC than mine to run well, so it gets really old guessing what'll work well, and my only console is my trusty (and beloved) Wii U, so I'll keep this in mind when Watchdogs hits

For all the shit it got, I expected to think the story of Sleeping Dogs was trash, but I honestly didn't think it was bad. It wasn't amazing, but it had a few good twists and turns, and it was more than serviceable enough. I haven't played this game, but I will say I thought the gameplay in Sleeping Dogs was quite

I almost hate myself for not waiting longer, given how cheap they're selling it for. Hell, even the eShop version is at $20 now (on sale, admittedly, but still). I was pissed at the delay, too, and I'll be honest and say it's a fine game, but the controls are a bit wonky, and it kinda ruined the fun for me. It's

The cynic in me says that in a month or two it'll be 50% off, as all Ubisoft titles seem to be. I don't know how anyone can buy their stuff at full price. Learned my lesson before Rayman Legends, which I got for $40 within a month, if I recall. I'll never buy another Ubi game at full price, as they've fully trained me

$3.74 on Spelunky, but all of that was from cards I sold, so technically nothing, but still a tiny bit. Just haven't been truly tempted by much of anything.

Oh man. I adored Season 1. Haven't played any of Season 2 yet, but Season 1 was easily my GOTY for 2012. If I recall, episode 3 is even more tragic, so brace yourself. It was so masterfully made.... I've never been so spellbound and felt so bad at the same time. I think that's why I'm still waiting for Season 2. I

Given the scalability of an OS like Android, I think this approach makes sense for Nintendo; the home console is your Galaxy S 5, if you will, and the portable is a midrange device.... A Moto G, perhaps. Both run the same OS, and thus the same games, but one runs it better than the other. Optimize for the OS and take

That.... would be amazing. It'll probably never happen, but that would be amazing! Quick, someone make a "spiritual successor" Kickstarter with these features!

After feeling utterly burned by the PSP and the lack of support it had while I owned one, I just sat back and waited to see Sony let it die, and I've not been shocked at all. When they announced it part of me thought "Wow... at that price? For that tech? The 3DS doesn't stand a chance..." And then I remembered owning

I honestly don't remember the last time I didn't do that. I guess I just have no trust in anyone. New games are enough of an investment for me that I don't plunk down unless I'm 100% sure it's the right game for me, and then I'll otherwise wait for a sale. I almost admire the trust everyone else is capable of.

I do think there are issues with the ways in which stockholders commandeer certain companies in the games industry (I've long thought EA was simply a slave to terrible investor ideas... though that doesn't make me dislike them any less for doing it), but I also suspect there's no way the industry can ever go back. If

Someone will make a chart with all the pre-order bonuses eventually. A few of them will probably be Playstation exclusive though, so you'll probably need to buy it for a few different systems to get the Deluxe Mixed Nuts Edition, unless you don't mind it being 50% or more of peanuts.

That would be a rather bright implementation of the Gamepad; place an icon on there for written and/or video tutorial access to any new ideas that can be skipped completely from there on. Tell the player about it early on, and then, it's off to do whatever you want and ignore the hints to your heart's content.

Depends on how "master race" you want to be about it. Until the new wave of "next gen" pc titles, I've been using a 2.4 Ghz dual core AMD APU with a Radeon HD 5750 with 1 GB of VRAM (from 2009) and 8GB of RAM on it, and have been able to play most last-gen PC games at around 720p and perfectly playable fps..... and I
