With the kinds of random nonsense that's getting popular these days, the title gif, and the name of this game, I fully expected this to be a game where you just sit in a car that's stuck and can't get out. This definitely isn't the game for me, but I'm glad it's more than what I expected going into this article.

This alone compelled me to look up the releases from Ubisoft on the Wii, and.... holy shit. I was just being snarky, but little did I know how right I actually was. They released almost nothing but licensed garbage, or some great originals like:

EA has been on my "no buy" list for some time now, and Ubisoft is mighty close to joining their ranks. They've been acting mighty stupid these days, and as a Nintendo/PC gamer, I have little excuse to like anything Ubisoft has done lately, as they've kinda been pissing on my platforms of choice. It's a shame, because

Right? Also worth noting that this August sees literally zero Wii U releases, and if this mythical "game on the shelf" Ubisoft has mentioned is any good, it'd have its best odds then, with nothing to compete with whatsoever until Hyrule Warriors in late September, and the chance to pick up more sales with the holiday

Let's not forget the Far Cry 4 episode, either. That have had a ROUGH month. Some PR people must be losing a lot of sleep these days. Going in the past month alone, it feels safe to say that Ubi is doing worse than EA..... and that's saying something. EA must be thrilled about this, hoping everyone turns their ire

Something of a side note, but I just wanted to say that I've loved the pieces you've contributed on the site lately! They're very thoughtful and a lot of fun to read, so I just wanted to issue a general "thanks" for that; it's been great having you here the past few weeks! On a more relevant note, my wife always has

Man, Ubisoft has not been endearing themselves to people in the last month, have they? Between the controversy heading into the launch of Watchdogs, the Far Cry 4 reveal, and everything from e3, they've had a really bad month overall, and this isn't going to do anything to help with that. Yikes.

Right? The fact that the little icons simply pop up for DSi Ware games and play just fine, I simply don't get why it wouldn't work on the 3DS. It's puzzling. I'm still holding out hope that they'll implement cross-buy at some point, so I refuse to buy 2 different versions of a game on both platforms to avoid feeling

I've thought something like OnLive had would be brilliant; make it a ~$10 a month fee for access to the Virtual Console entirely, and I think they'd be on to something. Do people really spend more than $10 a month on there anyway? It'd fund consistent adding of titles, and add a ton of value to the Wii U instantly by

Considering that DSi Ware games also function perfectly, I can't understand why they couldn't do downloadable DS games and make some serious money on games people like me need to get second-hand anyway to get a reasonable price on them. No way I was spending $40 or more on Spirit Tracks new, just to support the

I'm pretty unhappy with, and confused about, the lack of N64 games on the Wii U Virtual Console. I feel like at this point, Nintendo has 2 choices: start adding in more virtual console games for the Wii U Virtual Console, ASAP, or, make the Gamepad function as a classic controller in the Wii mode, thereby making all

Fuck me! You're right! Good thing that 2 women can speak on behalf of billions of them. Even luckier that it's the two that actually count. Whew. Haha.

I can't even keep up with every post of yours that I want to recommend in this thread. Keep fighting the good fight, even if none of them will ever listen. Man. The resistance that being rational and wanting to include others brings is goddamn depressing.

Isnt it also peculiar that you could say ANYTHING that has the word misogyny in it and these people start foaming at the mouth? It's like a Pavlovian response or something. Makes it clear their arguments don't come from a rational place, which is both scary and sad.

The idea that these people are so unwilling to accept that someone else could be bothered by something that affects them baffles me. The general lack of empathy and understanding they display is infinitely worse (as an indicator and overall) than Ubisoft's own stance. If there's a market so fiercely, and pointlessly

I'd recommend snagging one from a good deal via Dealzon before then, and then getting MK8 before the time runs out. Then you'll get the console for around $200, and then 2 more games with MK8. I was actually at Toys R Us last night and saw they were giving $60 off for anyone who bought the 8GB system with Skylanders

It's definitely perfect for when someone else also wants to use the TV, which is definitely why I love the system so much. I never want to not have the gamepad.

I played the hell out of it on some holiday trips to visit the in-laws. I was never happier about the new plane electronics rules than I was then. Got to play from takeoff to landing with no interruptions or boredom. Amazing. It may well be my favorite Zelda game.... But I think it needs a bit more time before I feel

I'm assuming that's a reference to the Project Robot thing Miyamoto is making, or whatever it was. I can't see how Xenoblade could earn that title, so I totally agree if that was the intent, but my hunch is that it's that one weird project Miyamoto was showing. Or so I hope.

Haha. No worries. Nothing drives me nuts quite like being told I'm wrong when I'm positive I'm right.... But it was simply a misunderstanding. A lot of people around here can be.... Not so bright... So I default to arguing more easily than I otherwise would. I'm always more than willing to admit when I'm wrong and
