It would seem we've decided to define first party differently, which is fair enough. I'm defining it as anything Nintendo sells, you see it as games they personally develop. And that's fine. Different definitions based on the context, it would seem. Since you were talking about price drops I decided to take a leap in

............. Did.... You read what I wrote? I explained precisely why they do have a place in this discussion there, and it's because they sell 101 and their own games. Ignoring that is why I questioned your understanding of how publishing works, since the publisher controls the price (aside of retailer sales).

That first sentence there is a direct contradiction to your entire point. As the publisher they have full control over the price.... Unless you think Platinum still somehow does.... In which case you have no idea how the industry works. Nintendo paid them to make the game, and they own the rights to it. True, paying

Hence my noting that "it wasn't developed by Nintendo themselves," but even for a title published by them, it's embarrassingly quick to drop that much. Even on the eShop it's only $30, which is impressive. Makes me less surprised that Platinum isn't more close to Nintendo now and they're making a title for Microsoft.

As a hardcore Zelda fan, I can honestly say I back this position. I enjoyed Zelda 2 more than this.... And I did NOT like Zelda 2. Some people seemed to read really deeply into the pain of the people in the world and the inevitable meaninglessness of helping them. All I saw was a few decent dungeons, a horrible time

Conversely, I got The Wonderful 101 for $17 this last week on Amazon, less than a year out from release. I know it wasn't developed by Nintendo themselves, but I am a bit stunned by the low price, which is very non-Nintendo. In rare cases, they seem capable of making exceptions, it seems.

Love Nintendo, love their games, fiercely loyal (probably to a fault).... Would never pay full price for this. Ever. Make this Mario 3D World DLC? Fine. eShop title? Cool. $60 retail or download experience? 0% chance for me, not until it was ~$15, anyway, at most.

Ummm.... is the video on here simply a screen recording from Nintendo's YouTube channel? I noticed this pop up in the UI as I was watching and it weirded me out a bit as I wasn't touching the computer at all and I saw both sets of controls on here. Couldn't help but find it odd that they didn't seem to provide you

They asked if there was a new one at E3, and there most certainly was. It was announced immediately after in the Nintendo Minute wrap up thing, if I recall correctly.

Have we forgotten Mario Party 10 already?

Whoa. That...... whoa. I bet plenty of other games have fans that're this..... unfortunate..... but this is one hell of a compilation. If this was from one convention, though, then holy shit.

The thing about a lot of this is, unfortunately, that we were only shown a snippet of what's going on here. Considering how little of this might be in the final product, annoyingly enough, none of what we just saw might even appear in the final product, as seen in all the people whining that this isn't the same as the

It most certainly is a consequence of not caring to see the character development in the series. I played the first two, and after finishing the second one, had no further interest in the franchise. I really, truly loved the first one... but the second one with the character switch and ending that didn't make any

Agreed 100%, but that's a more logical and nuanced argument to need to make than "LOLZ! The PS4 has more gigglebits of VRAMBLE! WiiU Sux!" That's why it doesn't appeal to fanboys; art design is subjective, and in the case of Nintendo, isn't brown-grey "realistic" nonsense.

Strictly speaking, aren't there at least two Cannon Links? Upon reflection, Link has some weird cannon encounters....

I don't know that other than the setting and characters things look all that similar here. Bear in mind that, if you watched the video, he explained how they're literally completely changing the structure of the game by removing the separations of dungeons and the world itself, essentially breaking the world and game

Depends on your definition. Twilight Princess was comparatively grim for a Zelda game. It'll never be a stupid gorefest, though, and I'll always appreciate that.

I'll be the tender age of 29 when this drops.... Well, assuming it's after October, anyway. Us Zelda fans. They hooked us young, huh? Haha.

I hate being "that guy," but you did scroll down on the main page enough to see the Star Fox Wii U leak, before making a snarky, pointless fanboy comment, yes? It's time for everyone to get and see the news their excited about for their games of choice on their platforms of choice. No need to post such inane nonsense.

Best thing I've seen in ages. That baby looks SO UNCOMFORTABLE, and that really just kills it. It gets me every time I scroll up to it and look at it again. I am in your debt.
