I'm doing the same thing. I have a 2.5 year old blond boy and he is the light of my life and stories like this hurt my body and I can't stop reading them. Like poking at a cut in my mouth just to keep reminding myself it still hurts.

If my son died I would be a wreck. Possibly forever. I can't imagine just going back to work the next day. I imagine I would need some extra money to live off of for a while.

Sometimes it's not possible to be "cruelty free". Maybe there are no alternatives that don't require "harm to others". Maybe the doctor didn't have time to research, develop, and run through the FDA a "cruelty-free" drug in time for the drug to have any benefit to this child.

The "P" in TDaP is for Pertussis, which is the official term for Whooping Cough. The T and D are Tetanus and Diphtheria. All three are very, very bad diseases to get.
