God, this whole thread is so cathartic. I am so happy for you and everyone else who got to witness that sort of “ah-hah!” moment in someone who has made amends for their behavior and tried to become a better human.

I think recordimg it is such a great idea! Human brains are REALLY good at editing our memories to make us look like the heroes in our own story, but it is pretty much impossible to deny video of oneself acting a fool.
