Well, at least some answers are good for a giggle:

I went and read a few dozen responses... it’s not just that tweet, sadly, it’s the entire fucking thread.

I still think it’s sad that Renault went the lazy, boring route of xeroxing the original’s design. That laziness was already boring on the Mini, the 500, and any number of “new” pony cars. They could have brought the design forward, created something unique, and instead they meekily stuck to... this. (Think was Honda

On the surface, the law exists to keep unsafe vehicles off American roadways.

Hear, hear.

I honestly thought it was a Rolls Cullinan II concept.

Not to diminish his design prowess, but it rings quite funny to hear him say he designs cars that won’t look dated 10 years later, when one of his most famous designs is ... the Mini? That car was dated the minute it rolled off the assembly line!

Oh yes, I forgot to mention the 20-or-so euro per way is when you buy ten - which quite a few peope do - but you’re right, they both are much more expensive. They’re not daily commute tunnels, though, that’s my suprise.

That’s still something many bikers (and not even really good ones) believe, if the number of those I see getting up passes around my town with their mirrors folded in.

It always is about torque. I’m always laughing when people obsess over HP or top speed in cars that cannot be driven remotly close to their top specs.

It’s weird because humor and pithiness and self-deprecation is very much alive and well - and works to create that coveted buzz and virality - but it seems confined to social media.

None of those mines are in California. In externalities beauty lies.

I also saw screenshots of him “offering” invites to F1 paddocks to girls and dismissing one who didn’t respond fast enough with a “I’ll ask a more interested girl” or some similar shit.

I like the Gen2 tailights more, but overall the sleeker and less fussy design of Gen1 is best, IMHO.

I’m actually surprised at the cost. It seems pretty extreme to me, at only about half of what is costs to cross the Mont-Blanc tunnel for instance, which is much longer and one of only two practical ways of crossing the Alps between Italy and France - not something you’d do daily, I expect.

Your Mom and Dad sound awesome.

I was wondering who would be stupid enough to pay $9 million for something looking onto what looks like a very busy street corner - it turns ou the lead image is a photo of the developer’s nearby hotel, not the penthouse building itself.
